Does anyone here consider the staff who took care of the so-called "QC pics" don't know shit about Lift Angles of a balance? I'll be amazed if they know what is a balance...
I am not talking about the TD, I am talking about that specific staff who handles the DC and took the photos if the TD is not a one-man-band.
I don't understand your point either. I am simply saying the guy who took the photos doesn't know the technical details at all.Don’t understand your point… whatever happened, it is handled in a very bad way by the « TD » who said : I fired the guy and we credited the amount the OP paid for the watchsmith who was not able to repair the watch…
Mistakes happen, send a broken watch could happen, but how it is being handled shouldn’t be from a TD here… even if till now it is damaging the reputation, hope it will be resolved quickly. TD is just losing more possible customer until this is resolve…
Well, I doubt. Yes, from the photo he covered the light. He might know “it will get things moving faster by covering this light”, but why covering it, he only knows “the customer will have complaints” but what is it, he might not know.

I have no comment anyway since I have never bought anything from them and probably never will.
The last time I heard of one of the TD's minions being fired for some kind of misrepresentation it was a 10 year old! So I think this is a fair point?I don't understand your point either. I am simply saying the guy who took the photos doesn't know the technical details at all.
By all means, keep roasting the TD, I have no comment anyway since I have never bought anything from them and probably never will.
I couldn’t agree more. The guy clearly did something wrong - no doubt about that. What I doubt is whether he actually understands the mechanism behind it. All he knows is that “doing this makes things move faster,” so he covered the light to produce a nice-looking result, just like every other rep’s result. If you ask him what those readings indicate, he’ll likely only know that “they won’t RL this watch,” but have no clue what “Lift Angle” even means. The last time I heard of one of the TD's minions being fired for some kind of misrepresentation it was a 10 year old! I don't expect the boss to know anything about watches
I would, just as I'd expect the guy that sells cars to know about cars.
I have found that some really good car salesmen know the least about the product they are selling. If you ask if it has a particular feature they tell you it has whether or not it actually does. Most Car salesmen don't know how a Lambda sensor controls fuelling, or Camshaft sensor is very important so that the ECU knows which cylinder is on it's firing stroke, but he knows which model has lane assist, active body control, etc

Years ago I was in a BMW main dealer. The model I was looking at came in 231 BHP or 215 BHP. I asked what the BHP was. The salesman confidently told me it was 170 BHP. I asked him if he was sure as I said I did not think it came in a 170BHP version? He said he would ask his manager. So he came back and said he was wrong. It was even better as it was 190 BHP. I thanked him for his time and walked out. That is just one of many examples.
I know another guy who is one of the top car salesman in the country. I can assure he has no clue about cars or their technical features.
Yours are from May and the OP's are from June, practically the same period.
Agreed. Sales relies on emotion not facts for most buyers. Unless your customer shows they're knowledgable and no nonsense. But thr majority of people aren't lol.I have found that some really good car salesmen know the least about the product they are selling.
