They both look like shit, compared to the gen rotor I don’t really care about the movement, it will never look like a Patek movement, no matter what you do to it

Mine needed modding, which makes sense if it's supposed to be "gen-spec"...Gen seconds hand or the movement need modding for it to fit.

Seems like a subjective answer...I didn't do the modding my watchmaker did, and without any delay or issues.

Since you cut the dial feet to fit the gen dial onto the 3KF movement… does that mean that if you, maybe in the future, decide to go the gen movement route, need a new gen dial?
