Ok, this watch is definitely growing on me. It definitely has a great feel and look to it on my wrist. The crystal is very nice eventhough it reflects more than my 187g. I love flipping the lever back and forth because it feels so solid, smooth and has a nice click when closing. I may have to wear it for the next two weeks just to be sure it's not my favorite Pam. :cheese: The lume is top notch by the way.

Wanted to share some photos of my 312O which arrived today.
The strap is Kuvarsit's genuine gator strap.

If you are on the fence of this one, pull the trigger, you will be happy you did. I think this one is simply perfect, the dial, crystal, crown guard, movement - all top notch and feels SUPER solid and gen-like in your hands and on your wrist.

I think they all have it. Certainly mine has and two others I've seen.
It's pretty clear in photos but you have to really look for it in 'real life'.

Yeah, I can't see it unless I literally put my face 2" from the watch and look for the canon pin. Honestly not a deal breaker at all, I mean the movement is completely backwards and way more noticeable than the canon pin. To each their own I guess.

But would it be hard to 'modify' the 312 to make the canon pin flush?

Personally i really like this watch even with the recessed CP. Like previously stated you have to look for it at an angle to see it. Even then, i had to take a macroshot to make sure it wasn't an illusion due to the domed CP. By the way, what kind of skin is that Orloff strap?

I don't know for sure. I picked it up in a M2M sale on another board and the seller couldn't remember if it was 'gator or croc'. He thought it was croc' and I'm inclined to think he's right.

I'm 99% sure it's croc, as gator scales look different. But it is a very spectacular strap...!

From the beginning I thought that was the matter



See that the domed shape produces a recessing in the dome edges of the CP. The effect and dome are a ilttle exaggerated to well see the problem.
