I though honestly that the AR of GEN PAM Boutiques was colourless, but after seeing below Video I get some doubts.

What do you think about that?
Please see the second reflection.

I'm a little surprised

ALE

I have handled and worn a few pam boutique models. pam464 and pam468 and i can honestly say that in natural light, and outdoor direct sunlight the crystal is completely colorless, however when hit with very powerful fluorescent lights then there is a faint purple hue...however very very faint to the point that it seems as its picking up the blueish purple color from the fluorescent bulb itself.

I think the watch in the vid looks a lot like the KV version... I may be bad wrong but look at lug screw placement really close! looks very familiar to me???

FRAME 1:08 look at lug screw end placement!!

I thought the same as I watched it as well.

OMG!
Are you meaning that it is a KW watch in the Video ?
Please, see the PIG, the inscriptions, the Lume application of the markers the thickness of the markers, the CP, the position of the CG PIN, The rounded bezel edge, the buckle, the strap...
It is a clear GEN in the video without any doubts.

I'm making an exhaustive review at this moment, with samples and hundreds of pics. I know every part and every angle of all Boutiques: GEN, KW and H maker !!!
Please be sure !!

In other fora, people with PAM knowledge, are now confirming that GEN has Violet (purple/blue) hue

Just a head's up guys, Li from KW said that all watches have shipped but that shipping information hasn't been uploaded. I guess they need a break!:thud:

Anyway, here are a few of my Q.C. pics. If you notice, the lug pins aren't flush to the lugs. I of course asked for a different watch based on the pics of KW's website and some of the Q.C. pics posted on this thread. Li directed me to the official panerai website which shows that the gen's pins aren't flush either. Go figure. Anyways, I approved it and it should be on it's way!

Just noticed something on the movement, I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but the marking on the movement "P.9000" is upside down? is this an easy fix for KW?

Here are the things that I caught. Now...I'll say this: I LOVE this watch, and plan on ordering one (maybe even today).

The 2-3 things that I found on the movement will likely be fixed with the next version, and I can't imagine anyone figuring it out that quickly...even if they looked at it.

Face/Hands: All I found was the Sec-Hand @9 on the Gen is riveted, while on the Rep, it's pinned.

Movement: I tried to illustrate in the pics the differences with the text. Some is u?op ?p?sdn, others isn't. The ordering is off too. This is EASILY fixable in the next run, of they decide to do such a thing.

Reading the dial left-to-right...

Gen: "?p?? ss??s () TWENTY-EIGHT (28) JEWELS CAL. P. 9000"

Rep: "0006 ?d ???? TWENTY-EIGHT (28) JEWELS ?p?? ss??s"

There's also the balance wheel on the Rep vs. Gen. One is at 10p, the other at 1p. It's almost like the movement is flipped.

At any rate...like I said...I want one.

(And I hope it's OK that I posted this here...please let me know if not.)

I think turning the watch around should fix it:D:

Yeah....I broke down and ordered one.

So damn sexy...

Smart move. Yes the movement is not 1:1 but its a lot better than the v1 and I am okay with the flaws.

Mine left china yesterday so I imagine I will be it Friday or Saturday.

For the gen, the balance wheel is not @10, if you orient the watch same as the rep picture, the wheel is @5. ;)

The gen has the wheel @7 and the rep has the wheel @11
This is the layout of P.9000 and A7750 you cannot change that.

Both movement have layout inverted and you need change the inscriptions to seems something similar, but it will never be the same it is impossible due to the layout different.
KW has changed the position of inscriptions to get a more similar movement.

There are some discussions in other fora regarding the position of the inscriptions in other versions because it is a matter of taste.
