Not at all. You unscrew the screws in the back of the case and slide the lug bars (?) off. Once you unscrew them from the case they pull in two.
I don't own a Rad (yet) but this is my understanding.

Ok, I thought the bar was one piece and I was thinking how much of a pain it would be to change the straps. Nothing beats changing the straps on a fiddy case though.
Just received it. It's amazing! Having not owned any KW P9k watches, I was stunned by the movement. It's just mesmerizing the way it blings under light.

You have a video tutorial in PAM GUIDE Section 6 explaining the way to change straps in all PAM types.

IS MY 505 - down to the serial number, missing bit od paint on PANERAI on rotor, etc.

Nice write up, thank you. I just got one also and I really like it. The issue IMO;
lume is not nearly as good as other recent PAMs. Also be careful with the lug screws- mine
were very loose, and seem pretty soft, not hard to strip I would guess. A bit of Lok Tight
Blue should do the trick.
