so this watch is made by who? im kind of confused with all the factories now a days,nice replicas used to come only from h-factory and noob , now pec is out of fashion

I have seen that nowadays Cartel has released a version of PAM 339 in Alu Ti DLC coated
I guess it is an alloy of Alu with Ti which is harder than simple Alu, to get a harder base for the DLC coating
Anyaway far of hardness of SS and, of course, of composite or ceramic
We will see the results

We must follow the same and uniform criteria to evaluate new replicas.
This KW PAM 505 will be able to be a magnificent First Class rep. But never will be even a First Class bordering Super rep status.
The movement is not a clone, it is a clear decorated movement with inverted layout, anyone can tell the differences.
Besides the material is not composite, is DLC coated with a weight about double.
Many important differences for a Super rep or bordering Super rep,
PAM 388 if has a good quality, as we expected, since the material is polished SS will be a First Class rep bordering Super rep status (due to movement)
Anyway, this watch is really awesome and it is worth the purchase

I think the clone KW movements look excellent. IMHO they are just as close to gen as an unmodded 6497. They each have tells. I cannot agree with the point that "anyone" can tell the difference. I showed my buddy, another watch buff and Panerai enthusiast my KW312 and he thought it was gen. He looked at the movement for 5 minutes stating how beautiful it was and how cool it was they made their own manufacture etc... he went on and on and I finally said you know thats a rep too right.
While it is true any of US can tell the differences instantly, the average Joe cannot... not even someone relatively familiar with the p9000 movement without it being next to a gen pic or watch.
I have the utmost respect for Ale and all his hard work and his guide is the best thing going for us watch geeks looking for an excellent pam resource. It is not the bible however, and while it doesnt get his super rep stamp it certainly gets mine. There are numerous "super reps" that arent as good that are not panerai so they dont have the level of close inspection that are considered super reps. AP diver for example, excellent build quality and second to none, but still has visible flaws from the FRONT, whereas almost all panerai problems are rear only, save CG on lesser models. just my .02$
