I've worn my new 505 every day this week. It is super comfy. I will probably pick up the 388 too when its out to have a different look. The nice thing about these is even with the automatic movement they aren't as thick as the 1950 style cases (think pam 312). The watch is also much lighter and well balanced... it just feels better on the wrist imo.

...but I need to confirm one thing: be careful with lug screws - they are butter soft; I have striped already two of them while trying to tighten them A BIT. Time to replace screws already

Will oiling then help prevent this?
It looks like it is not screws' fault but case set fault. There is a thread on screws - holes are striped out of thread. Probably wrong screws (the thread is of type as for soft materials) or case set is not stainless steel but something softer

Does anyone notice that the sound of the movement is a bit loud? when you move your watch. Anyone knows if the real one has the same level of sound?

I just got my first order from Ryan and it was a pam 505. I have a problem, the watch is kinda lagging every 5 - 10 min and i have also hand wound it. I am getting a little worried how, could some one tell me if there is anything I can do or is there is defect in the mechanism ?

Hi,
Have anybody gotten a PAM 505 recently? I just received QC pictures and TD say KW now using 7750 movement instead of Seagull. The balance wheel is now at 11 instead of 6 o'clock position. Anybody care to to comment on this? Thanks.
