hmmm, I wonder if they fixed the caseback and the black lettering doesn't peel off like the ol Noob if you removed the caseback sticker. Need that middle jewel on the rotar that they are bragging about decorating plates and not the rotar!!!, fix the crown, isn't it supposed to be blue with AP logo in white or silver? Thankfully the tachy is silver and not white... we can see this in a close up on one of the pics on PT, but not sure it's spot on, but good enough for me. DW was a given, so I don't know why everyone is complaining about that, I expected that to begin with... Now the dial... well that needs spa treatment from someone...
Now onto the real question, and I believe the first person to answer this will be Slaughter.... Did JF factory re use all the old Noob movements and cases and update the plates, etc? Is this why this is the first AP with such a plate upgrade? The answer lies beneath the plates... If we see blue screws, we know what's up!!!! LOL
2 weeks they say.... just in time for my birthday, would be nice.... but I say we don't see this bad boy till June... I hope I am wrong...
and the video is up..... and like I said, the movement is still NOT working, crown in or out, so my hunch may be correct, problems with the plates... I hope I am wrong and this is just a prototype like they said.

Can anyone answer it the dial is a Metalic finish. ? Blue is very nice. Wud be awesome if it is a Metalic finish...

One thing is for sure, the silver subdial rings look much better, they look fat and silly on the old noob. Also the print and black chapter ring around the blue dial looks much sharper and cleaner. Printing of white hour markers appears to be much better as well!
It actually looks really good.
You can't complain about the flaws at that price. Pretty sure you could spend a bit on it and get it perfect.

Good point Don.. in all their video's they at the very least show the movement running, stop and restart the Chrono's too...
However, no TD worth his salt would ever ship a watch that isn't working (well I haven't come across any that have) so shouldn't be an issue and if it is an issue, maybe due to it being a Proto..

.... damn, I dreamed about the new movement with all it´s fake plates this night ... I saw the factory using all their overstock and re-shipments and non-working movements, stick the plates on, dip them in oil and case them into these beautyful cases ... ending up with badly-serviced watches plus anreliable plates ... what a nightmare, glad I only dreamed

Good to know, that even for nearly $800, you still get the odd pube, check the Video, nice pube @3 on the bezel

Especially after you finally clicked the payment button , then the image of the postman and the package replays in your mind and sometimes you even confuse it with reality, always thinking 'the postman was here' at the sign of any box .... You have been diagnosed and it's too late
hmy:... there is a shorter video (20 sec) that was posted before and you can see the crown unscrewed and set to the time-set-position, but when the wacth is flipped over you can see the balance wheel working!
