A Gift from a Mate on Wrist-Check: Rolex DJII w/ A2836

For Friday, this s/s Rolex DJII w/ an A2836 heart given to me by a mate on Wrist-Check a while back, after he learned of my being scammed out of $200 by an RWI member from the UK. I was floored by his generousity and keep it in a watch box because it's so special: Nice lume, great weight and wrist presence, good cyclops, and wonderefully smooth seconds sweep. I am truly humbled. dave:

Great watch and even greater history behind it. You deserve it Dave, we all know you would have done the same if anyone of us were to be in that position you were.:cheers:

I can CERTAINLY live with these blues -- my favorite color. Again, another masterful portraiture from the Grand Master Himself. Thanx for the really captivating EYECANDY.

MY GOD, Spirit (I seem to be saying this a lot whenever I see your pics), this watch and that hypnotic blue dial just seem to jump off my screen!! The pic is THAT riveting and realistic! Someday, I'd like to use this as a screen saver (if I can figure it out. May I, Spirit?

Today it was the Yachty, ´cause I came with it from my gf´s house on the holidays, straight to the office...

I THANK YOU, my man! I did not know (or remember) this. Thanks for the education.

Nope. That's a PAM005. The PAM318 has the same dial but the Golden Gate Bridge in the caseback. So no fantasy here Dave! Cheers!
