The date position on A7750 is further out from the centre than AP. If you try to fit a tachy which is closer to gen specs onto the noob, it will encroach onto the dial hatch marks more, so noob cheated and made the tachy thinner to look correct. I suspect that J12 may have overlooked that detail in favor of more gen-spec parts, but it will look off. That's the agony and the ecstacy with reps, especially when the movements are so very different from gen: things will be off, it's just a matter of where and what you're prepared to live with.

Half- cut off tachy, full - cutoff tachy, They are All Cut off tachy! I can live with both actually. ;-p
... this Platinum GP looks great in my books, the factory did a good job on it. The hex-screws look more defined and hopefully are higher grade and not melting when used to open the caseback. The caseback is better engraved, details in the finish are way better than previous version. The new-look movement is promissing as well, allthough I never cared about the movement anyway. Hope they also put more emphasis on the movements finish and SERVICE. 3 of my 5 GP I had over the years had problems due to the lack of oil and stains in the gears.
All in all I am on the fence for a new GP ... of course I would go the FC road as this version grew on me the last couple of years and it is a better feeling to wear a rep with the exact material as gen (so the platinum and gold is out for me).
Let´s wait and see how the FC turns out ... maybe I will fell off my fence when I see the price-tag

Sounds like a similar issue with PN Daytonas. Slim cases, thick cases, off coronets and off centered subdials. Unless your prepared to drop over 2k to get it fixed, I would stick with a factory piece. It's a give and take on what you can live with and what you can't. To each his own, personally, the caseback decorative movement is more important for me than the front. The movements will have to change if they were to ever fix that date positioning, which we won't see happening anytime soon. These watches still make economical sense over gens, which costs upwards of 2k to service. I will simply throw and get a new model when it's beat with no warranty from TDs. Having owned 3 pieces off JFactory, they have proven that they can deliver quality. If the movement bugs you, you could always do a jewel mod or switch the hairspring to a gen ETA. As others have mentioned, JFactory watches and Zorros GP watch are two totally different pieces, in terms of detail and price points. Comparing them eye to eye is like comparing canal street submariners with TC subs.
Yeh, even the old noob GP strap was good and their history with Ap straps was shite lol

I ordered the SS Rubber Clad, it had a white dw with black font, the watch that was sent was black dw with white font, which I wanted...

This is money saving time now! I am gonna start with a FC and if they are all fantastic i am gonna get all 3!
You could buy a new Platinum GP and put the new decorated movement in it & then you have the ultimate noob-JF meshup GP with all parts 99% gen-like
