How would you build a 6542 Albino GMT-Master?

Not my work but I can help because I had made a parts list for this project, before the opportunity to buy the watch, based on this thread

Cartel 1655 is the best option for a cheap build.

Bezel and insert from eBay. Not available at the moment but I'm pretty sure it will be back in stock soon.

Albino dial on eBay too. In stock today.

Raffles small GMT hand.

A mercedes hands set.

Cyclop 116. Don't know exactly what brand used on mine, but I thing it's a GS or sternkreuz.

Case thinned, CG shaved and lugs holes drilled.
Add 24-6020 tube and gen 24-600 crown.
Print a roulette date wheel overlay.
Et voilà...
A 650/700$ build

I just want to improve on one thing. Would anyone recommend buying this watch instead as the starting package - https://www.ts-station.cn/goods.php?ProId=19074
It's a 6542 (I'm sure there is a 21J of it somewhere for hundreed'n'smothin dollaridoos) - crown guards are already shaved and the case is supposed to be good. The only question is thickness. Although I'm sure someone else may be able to chime in. Everything else is Excellent 10/10 Brother!!!!!!!

Seems to be the standard 39mm silix no crown guards Sub case.
I doubt it accept gen spec bezel, 27.8mm dial and tropic 116.

@nikoel unless you done it or someone has done it I would not post it as either a recommendation or an improvement, rather as an idea or question. Pretty sure @Bart Cordell is correct .. so at least with a Silix sub your getting a coin edge bezel with the case which has been done before with mods to rest

Would not reccomend no, as Bart noted and his spec list works as demonstrated otherwise you would go Silix sub with coin edge bezel plus mods which is more complicated since the exp II is set up to accept the rest and is GMT

Think Bart's build is the best 'budget' version your gonna get at this time, still no reliable bezel assembly I can find unless the one he listed pops back up or Joey B is still making them. yuki has the insert only as well

The font is incorrect for this DW. So far it doesn't seem that we have a solid ETA/Clone based solution but I have some DWOs coming from Calvin on RWG but I think the red might be a little washed out. I am waiting to see it in person to determine if it's worth the effort.

JoeyB posted an overlay file in the thread I mentioned above.
I prefer to redraw one myself but I still have a few adjustments to make before posting.

Nice job .. looks like the ink is bleeding in the paper a little, wish I had your photoshop file as I could fix this in illustrator for you, illustrator is sooo much better to control thickness of fonts and every element of each letter / number
