The links dont seem to work. looking for 186 & 187First of all : You shouldn't renounce to buy a watch just because it's not listed here.
Remember that 95% of people don't look at your watch and only 1% of the 5% can tell a rep from a gen. Don't be worried !
Please understand that NWBIG doesn't necessarily mean "Super Rep".
This thread is not only about NWBIG watches, but also Super Rep NWBIGs !
Any NWBIG is not worth buying in gen. A watch can be NWBIG without being a Super Rep because the tell is acceptable.
But a Super Rep is necessarily NWBIG. That's what this thread is about : Watches that are not worth buying gen AND are very hardly distinguishable from the gen.
I double checked all the watches in every page. I've gone in all the reviews thread I could find for every single of these watches to make sure they actually were considered as Super Reps. I noticed a few of these had issues or were "under debate". Some of them actually were not even Super Reps although they were often considered like they were (with obvious tells (so not NWBIG)).
Once I finished doing the whole thing and after reading around 200 threads, I decided to create this list.
Please, you have to understand that I've been very demanding.
If there is any obvious tell you can spot quickly, it's NO SUPER REP, it can still be NWBIG tho if you need to be an expert in the particular model to spot it.
This list is, what I consider, THE Super Reps list.
In other words, I need your help for that, I would like to create a list that anyone could participate to build, discuss, debate, update; that anyone can USE and that is CONSENSUAL.
If you see any mistake in the list, feel free to tell me.
If you see any watch in the list that has an obvious tell, let's discuss it.
What I want is something clear, easy to read and accepted by everyone (or almost).
Most importantly, remember that even a Super Rep IS a Replica. THIS IS NOT ABOUT PERFECTION !
There will ALWAYS BE a difference. This is about going AS CLOSE AS WE CAN to GEN.
This thread is about watches that you should not buy gen because the Replicas listed in here are so good that the price difference between the GEN and the REP would NOT be justified !
Of course GEN will ALWAYS be superior even in the smallest way.
PLEASE, if you disagree with something TELL US WHY.
Should it go in or out of the list, LET US KNOW.
And if you see someone that disagrees with you, TALK ABOUT THAT, give us your input.
I will update this list as soon as THERE IS A CONSENSUS.
While it's UNDER DEBATE, I won't.
Since the last forum update, I can't update this list anymore, please click the following link for the updated list:
CONSENSUAL SUPER REP LIST UPDATED - OMAGAD RWI
docs.google.com
The FIRST CLASS++ category is basically a SUPER REP on the wrist (with a small (has to be minor) tell on the case back!)
FIRST CLASS category are very good reps, very close to gen, but with one obvious tell for anyone knowing what to look for or with side by side comparison. Please note that there are many watches out there that could fit into the FIRST CLASS category.
This one is only about watches that have been discussed HERE as potential Super Reps and didn't get the status.
I hope you enjoy my dedication and I hope to be part of this incredible RWI forum for long time.
Thanks for reading, please join us ! Any suggestion is welcome.
Credits to those who participated to the original list (@timnic54 and @simonjay, and @ALE7575 for PAMs) and all the participants of the previous thread (too many of you to name), all the guides makers and all of those who will participate here. Special thanks also to Repworld for his continuous will and dedication to enhance this list...
I'm seriously considering a VSF Aqua Terra, and so I know what I'm looking for, could you explain what you mean by the 24hr glass ring please? It's a decent rep, but they also are known for having slight issues with regards to the 24-hour glass ring. In particular, they usually seem to sit a bit too low, resulting in some of the numbers being slightly obscured. To me, it's a pretty easy tell vs gen, which usually has the ring sitting perfectly.
You need to take out a support ticket and fix your multi-account issue or no one will see your posts.@Omagad I have a question good sir, why the PPF White Dial 5711 falls under as not accepted as NWBIG? What's the instant tell?
Don't you thing 116610LN VSF should be in the list? In my opinion, it's almost impossible to spot without opening it.
Super clone, meaning that the replica movements are produced as close to as aesthetically possible to the real thing. Not necessarily a good thing. Especially if closed caseback, it’s unnecessary. Better a reliable movement that’s easier to service than a super clone one that’s unstable.Quick question, doing a quick search on Pure Time for Super Clones, a huge list comes up, however, most of their supposed "Super Clones" are NOT on this super clone list. Some are though. Can it be trusted that they are Super Clones if they don't appear on this list in the forum? Or is the list simply not updated with all the newest offerings? Here is the list below, a ton of AP watches on it and such.

I was looking at possibly getting the PAM441 VSF V2 Super Clone which is on both this Super Clone list as well as their own super clone so it's safe to assume it is the right one. But now I'm curious if I shouldn't order one of the APs maybe the
Royal Oak Offshore Diver 15710 IPF 1:1 Best Edition White Dial on White Rubber Strap SA3120 Super Clone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, I'm an idiot. Super Rep vs. Super Clone. I guess I assumed they mean the same thing. Now I understand... One more question then, is that PAM 441 on their site the same as the one from the Super Rep list?Super clone, meaning that the replica movements are produced as close to as aesthetically possible to the real thing. Yes. This is the same superclone.Thank you, I'm an idiot. Super Rep vs. Super Clone. I guess I assumed they mean the same thing. Now I understand... One more question then, is that PAM 441 on their site the same as the one from the Super Rep list?
PAM441 O Real Ceramic VSF 1:1 Best Edition on Brown Asso Strap P.9001 Super Clone V3
The Super Rep list references PAM 441 - Luminor GMT VSF V2?
Thank you so much for the advice, really appreciate it. I have a gen panerai daylight chrono and I find the metal bracelet way too heavy so I usually wear it on a strap and prefer that but if the strap that comes with the 441 is junk then it's prob worth paying more. Right now the difference of the price of the two watches is $150, do you think it's worth the difference if I end up mostly wearing it on a strap? Any good suggestions for sourcing a strap for it?Yes. This is the same superclone.
I‘d advice going hor the 438 instead. The bracelet fits the watch and you can turn it into a 441 with a strap. The strap on the 441 is useless junk.
Well. With Panerai Reps all the straps are really bad. So you'll need to buy an aftermarket one. The decision to spend the 150 extra for the bracelet is up to you.Thank you so much for the advice, really appreciate it. The movement is to complicated to be reped.Hi, great to see this list always being updated over time but is there no demand for zenith el primero reps? I've looked around and not seen anything good. I'm looking for the A384 panda. Obsessed with that watch at the moment
haha okay. Maybe one day I'd have the genThe movement is to complicated to be reped.
Same as with the Speedy. Not enough demand. Both of those will probably sell 5% of what is sold in Daytonas.
I think Clean just released some new explorersThat's awesome @Omagad. Fingers crossed there is a (or close to) NWBIG Explorer in 39 or 40 on the list sometime.
Yes, they did! I found the discussion about the new CF 36 AND 39mm Explorer here:I think Clean just released some new explorers
