There is lots of information on the website about the watches you list . Or perhaps it should be WAS , as it may have been lost when the site crashed a while back . Anyway the JF 114300 , TC SUB and TW Bluesy are no longer made ! The only way you will pick one up is in the M2M section . If you want a 114300 go for the ARF in grey or grape ( JF /ARF are the same factory ) which is same ( practically ) in 904L steel . It is also a super rep NWBIG in my opinion . It superceded the JF when they stopped making it , not sure why it hasn't superceded it on the list to be honest . I think a few experts chimed in that they had added a couple minor flaws when changing it to 904L . However it looks like the same dial, same watch to me in grey and grape version just done in a different steel.

Interesting, do you know if there is a good comparison between JF & ARF?

I'm sorry to open the topic again, but it's about the PPF 55711 white dial(!). I also said in this forum that the PPF 55711 blue dial is not a super rep, because of the violet tone of the dial, which is different from the original. Regarding the white dial, I think the watch is worthy of FIRST CLASS, even if it is not a NWBIG. Against NWBIG speaks, the protruding crown. That the movement is a tell, should play no role, because otherwise one could strike almost all watches. Also the bezel is partly criticized, but I think it is almost perfect and therefore negligible. Here are three links about the topic. In one thread a Gen-Owner states that the PPF feels like the original. For me definitely FIRST CLASS. I am looking forward to your comments and if necessary the rejection of my FIRST CLASS thesis.

Both FIRST CLASS and SUPER REPs are NWBIG (Not Worth Buying In Gen).

FIRST CLASS have minor visible flaws where SUPER REPs are almost 1:1.

I don't think the bezel issue allows it to be first class... an amazing rep, but not first class.

You are right there is a "bezel issue" but it is not that the bezel is thicker. The watch has still the same proportion. Just like Tobel said in the linked Thread the brushed part of the bezel is slightly off. And you can't really see it without zoom.

Sorry I wasn't clear and should not have used the word thicker. What I meant is that the brushed part of the bezel is wider.

You can see that the outer part of the bezels as well as the inner side (touching the crystal) align (see green lines). However the border between the brushed part of the bezel and the polished part do not (see red lines). Given that the inner and outer borders are at different depths, this can't be explained by lens/distance. In addition, this is the case both on the top and on the bottom, so it's not a different angle of the watch either.

That's very minimal and I'm still very much looking forward to receiving mine. But I think that's what may explain Darude 's impression.

I totally agree with you. Thats why I said that the bezel issue is for me negligible and the PPF is a NWBIG FIRST CLASS. But I still see the point of VMSG and Repworlds rejection and appreciate their eye for minor flaws and the strive to perfection.

Just to clarify, I got the PPF blue and i love it, it is an amazing rep.
The blue is very close to gen in real life (for some reason in photos it looks weird, i can't explain it, i'm not an expert in photography).
However, the bezel is noticeable when you compare the rep and gen side by side. otherwise, you can't see it at all.

That’s great to know. The blue has been my favourite but the photos really shown a kind of purple hue that was a bit off gen. How does the light reflect on the dial? Does it change its colour?

Yes to some level. I'm not sure if it is "as gen" in this aspect.

Have you looked at the protruding crown of the PPF Nautilus, it looks as if it has been pulled out to adjust the time/date.
