Updated (thank you @daytona4me for the technical assistance. Added info about SL-4802, SH4132, and DD4131 Daytona movements.
Thanks for the pic. Very good to see the skeletonized escape wheel so clearly. I can’t wait to get one of these on my bench to inspect in person. I have a request in with my TD to let me know as soon as they’re available.
I don’t know about the s3235 could you pos a pic?Hi, do you know the s3235 movement? iread its the same as vs3235 is it true?
link it to a CF watch. It has a vr3235 movement inside. Or if it’s very new it might have the vr3235 v2sorry, i can only send the website link
because i cant see pic's online somtimes,

You mean the improved SH3235 with beats adjustor and regulator facing outwards? Sorry I haven’t seen the picture on the website. The

Actually the one in the link to JTime above is a VR3235 with inward facing adjusters. There’s no real difference between the new / old versions of the Shanghai (VR) 3235 movements. They’re both the same design. The only difference is in the balance bridge with the SH3235 (or VR3235 mk2 or whatever we end up calling it — VOTE HERE) having a real paraflex shock setting and outward facing adjusters. You mean the improved SH3235 with beats adjustor and regulator facing outwards? It would have to be serviced, you can't just increase the amplitude. However make sure the lift angle is set properly on the timegrapher and even if it is and it's close to 250 with no other issues it probably isn't worth it right now.@dogwood if amplitude of a VS3235 is less than 250, what to we need to do on the movement in order to adjust it to be between the ideal range of 270-310?
Do you mean servicing by way of adding some lubricants on the swing of the balance wheel? would just that improve the Amplitude or does it need more activities to be done on the movement? It would have to be serviced, you can't just increase the amplitude. Left angle is at 52 which is ideal but amplitude is at 237!It would have to be serviced, you can't just increase the amplitude. However make sure the lift angle is set properly on the timegrapher and even if it is and it's close to 250 with no other issues it probably isn't worth it right now.
By service I mean a full movement service. You should not selectively oil certain parts to try and increase amplitude.
I am actually surprised. As far as I know, most modern movements have a left angle of 50-52. Can you please confirm the source of your information about the VS3235 movement?By service I mean a full movement service. You should not selectively oil certain parts to try and increase amplitude.
With all of that said the lift angle is actually incorrect for the VS3235, it should be between 55 and 59. I usually test at 59 and if changed your movement will be within spec and nothing to worry about
Good question. There is this db available but I’m not sure how good it is, and whether Reps should conform to the Gen counterpart….Where can I find the ideal range of the different vital indicators for replica clone movements DD3285, VS3235 and SA4130?
