Cf and btf > zf simply due to movement, DD4130 is not the same as SH4130

The SH4130 is that bad, huh? Makes sense - DD>SH definitely seems true for other movements as well.

I'm torn between CF w/ deep crystal and BTF. I saw a reddit comment mention some people sell the CF dial on RWI, but I can't find where. Is that a thing? Best option might be buying a BTF and then purchasing a CF dial.

Not bad. Just unproven. DD4130 has a very low failure rate, has been inspected by loads of watch makers, very few complaints. (but still a rep movement, dont run chrono too often unless serviced, replace with gen parts to increase stability)

Actually you'll find that some people prefer BTF dial, like Storm or Daytonadude. I think CF is superior with the Deep (subjective opinion) but tbh if you're new and want to save cash, get the BTF, you won't be able to tell the difference imho.

It’s worth figuring out crypto if you are into reps. Just the other week, I was able to snag a 20% Xmas crypto discount on an Omega rep from ChazingTime.

Personally, I don’t see it as any more risky than any other irreversible method like wire transfer. Credit card might be safest, but you pay a lot more and I’m not convinced a chargeback would be straightforward. At the end of the day, you are buying a counterfeit product. Payment security kind of goes out the window.

to be honest the only reason people are afraid of SH is because SH movements (not necessarily this one) used to have issues a year or so ago. Its just a reputational thing, for now the only thing that can be said is that the movement is new and untested, just like the SA once was.
i so far have not heard any member actually owning the SH having issues. The ZF version itself is absolutely phenomenal with its case shape and dial/bezel.

Hi everyone, I will be receiving a Daytona 4130 CF blue dial in a few days, tell me if you want HD macro photos? I have just read the 9 pages and my biggest fear as a neophyte is really the crown at the top of the dial!! I see that the round ends of the crown are flat like dinner plates!!! It's scary how fake it looks because on the original they have a nice 3D relief... Oh my God, I'm already stressed...
