CF v1 is indeed a really good dial. I still am having difficulty letting mine go lol. The markers are great, the print is great and the subdial number font spacing is great. However, it does have the blue tinge to the dial in artificial lighting that may be a dealbreaker for some.

Yeah same here. I like my clean v1 with BTF crystal verry mutch. I like it more then the BTF(dial wise) The only think that bothers me on clean v1 is the pushers, they are a little bit longer then on the BTF.noob. Gen.

The thing is if you have to be asking about CF v1 vs BTF you won't notice the differences between either.

Just pick whichever one is cheaper for you. I would go with CF with a deep swap but some people swear by BTF. End of the day they're all basically very similar.

Thank you for the insight, one thing interesting to note from my experience btw.. while the consensus favours CF on the new submariners over VSF mostly due to better finishing and correct lug shape etc, I much more preferred VSF when I had hands on both. Clean just doesn’t seem as aesthetically pleasing on my wrist and the perhaps “incorrect” slimmer profile on the lug on VS made it feel just better overall, not to mention the movement (maybe more bling bling too lol).

Does anyone have comment on just overall feel of the watch, BT VS CLEAN ? (Aside from intricate Details of the watches being close to the gen or not )

I think mine is a V2 from Clean. Changing crystal to remove greyish tone should be ok. I also read a post where @Johnny Depp cooked in hover a little bit the dial to improve color…

Not sure it's a v2. Look at the size of the crown coronet. When did you buy this?
