It’s true what they say - you get what you pay for! I got my QC images back from InTime and they are not very thorough haha. He didn’t even include video of the watch running or a timegrapher. Couldn’t help but laugh when unopened up the email.

Bad photos dont mean that the watch is bad, in the end it is in the range of 700s dolars without offer. i thing it will be perfect, movement aside.
Agreed, the watch might be perfect, but there is no way to tell from just these photos. Without a timegraph and a video of the watch functioning normally, I don't think what I was sent meets the criteria for a QC. More photos of the watch itself at different angles is more of a nice to have.
For what it's worth, I have looked at a lot of QC posts and I don't think I have ever seen one this low effort. Not trying to go after InTime, but it seems like they have a reputation for this.
Finaly i order two ZF daytonas white dial to Hont. I think for the current price its worth it.

RWI doesn’t seem to allow general QC posts unless you are asking about a very specific issue. I am new here but maybe others can weigh in?
A little on QC pics.
QC pics are to satisfy YOU that the watch is OK to YOUR standards, that there are no crooked indices, missing lume, offset chrono hands etc. QC pics are not for picking tells or things that are present in every example of a model such as spelling errors, happy feet, wrong lume colour etc. These...

Curious to hear opinions from others as to which of the two (black or white) is closest to gen. For the black dial it's pretty apparent that CF V3 is the overwhelming favorite, whereas for the panda there's a half and half split between those who prefer BTF and those who prefer CF V3 (with deep xtal of course).
I know the CF vs. BTF (and now ZF) argument has been belabored upon within hundreds of threads, if you had to pick one model for the sake of getting closest to gen regardless of black vs. white, what would you pick?

Apologies wasn't trying to be spoon-fed info - I read through the thread quickly and missed some key info. Original question was primarily around the closest to gen when just considering dial + crystal combo between the three (OOTB BTF panda, CF V3 panda with deep xtal, CF V3 black dial with deep xtal)
It's an open debate. Both have flaws, you just have to choose for yourself which set of flaws you can live with. I personally went with a ZF because it has the best looks, but the flaw there is an unproven movement.

I will say this: It's pretty difficult to pass up the ZF version considering how dam good it looks and that some dealers are offering it for a little over $500.
Really enjoyed reading through every thread here, the consensus on Reddit forums however mentioned about the CF v1 dial being superior than the current v3.
I was about to pull the trigger on second hand for a reasonable price 500 usd ish? But having read through this, I’m conflicted between CF V1 and BTF. I’m mostly concerned about the aesthetic parts and overall built quality.
Any comment or suggestion regarding CF V1 vs BTF would be really appreciated thankssss🥹

CF v1 is indeed a really good dial. I still am having difficulty letting mine go lol. The markers are great, the print is great and the subdial number font spacing is great. The thing is if you have to be asking about CF v1 vs BTF you won't notice the differences between either.
Just pick whichever one is cheaper for you. I would go with CF with a deep swap but some people swear by BTF. End of the day they're all basically very similar.
