Nobody will spot rep hands from 20cm on your wrist...But that’s not the point.

if you’re used to seeing gen hands on YOUR own watch and then one day you swap to rep hands, the rep hands will look ugly to YOUR eyes (not others).

But I don’t want to distract from how good these reps actually are. We just like to nit pick for fun in the forums. Gives us something to talk about. Haha

I would agree that there is a lot of nit picking in the rep scene but for hands i'll agree with the other. I'm not sure but i'll assumed that, as in goldsmithery they apply a really small chamfer on all edges ( usually 3 hundredth cm in goldsmithery) that make the edges catch the light and shine in a very different than rep hands. But no pictures can highlight that, it needs to be moving to make the difference

It really is!

Sunburst is subtle - and the dark goes to black in a 45 degree angle.
So imo it's the best.

Here’s a few pics of my BP 3135 dial. Markers arnt as bad as some other dials but I’ll need to change these I think. The dial goes fully black on some angles depending on light. Even outside in the daylight. Plus the date window has the tiny little step edge just like the gen where the ZZF doesn’t. Sorry but I took a lot of pics to try and capture the colours on many angle inside and outside

I know I don’t have the CF dial but thought I’d add a few more pics of other dials just to visually compare. Here’s the BP dial next to hulk with JF dial. IMO the JF dial has a better green colour and is not as shiny almost more flat looking but doesn’t go as black as the BP on an angle. I’m thinking of getting the CF dial just for the markers at this stage.

Apologies guys not trying to throw people off. Just adding some other pics for visual comparison I think I’d want to be sure it’s worth buying the CF at that price, not trying to crap on anything just thought some might be interested.

It should fit right into noobs 3135 no problem.



On a a side note, I do think the BP dial color is a little better but CF’s color is very close. And the markers and lume on cf is a huge upgrade. As with any rep, the markers are a big pet peeve of mine, I slipped the cf dial in and I really like it.

Now now that I have the BP dial loose, I might work on swapping markers especially if I can find gen. But right now, with no mods, I think the cf dial might be the way to go. With the naked eye, I think color and shine is tough to distinguish (between BP and cf) and the markers are the biggest weak spot. It’s only with a camera and the zoom function that you can really see anything. Imo

CF dial installed. And now BP dial loose. Lume is with gen hands 1.) after a full charge and 2.) after 15 min.

Hazing i totally agree with your comment. The BP behaves pretty close to gen but I guess the CF dial as a package is definitely a great option especially with nice lume markers they do make the dial.

Yes. I noticed some pitting in the lume on the BP dials. It is hard to see or show in pics, especially on taptalk but one day I thought there was some dust on my marker and took a close up - there it was. At that point I started looking at the other markers closer and from that point on, those "pits" caught my eye often.
