I just placed my order today, although the X wouldn't have stopped me from doing so. But damn that's bad
Seriously though, that's something I won't ever see on the wrist.
I’ve got to agree with KJ, this is not something you can see when looking at the watch on your wrist.
Seriously though, that's something I won't ever see on the wrist. The gen sample has a top right cap line shorter than all the others, a deviation from the CAD perfect dial at Rolex.com
... And you don't need a loupe to make that observation.
Happy New Year everyone!
The "X" concern is definitely NOT a deal breaker. All I'm saying is, once you see it, it's difficult to unsee it.
The dial is an improvement --- print and the markers ---, but I am looking forward to the next version that hopefully turns "blacker " in certain light. Like the BP Miyota did.

Yea. Gen hands and I think the color of the whitish fill on this dial is very very very close to gen. Much closer than on an ARF or or even on the BP. I haven't held it side by side with a gen sub but I have held other models side by side and thay was the first thing I noticed - the difference in that marker color.Hazing is your watch installed with gen hands? I wanted to know how the white lume color is compared to gen hands.
The cf dial gets very very dark. And it takes only the very slightest adjustment to go from completely green to completely dark. Here are some I just happened to have that I took last week. I'll try to take some specifics when I get home from vacation. The "X" concern is definitely NOT a deal breaker. All I'm saying is, once you see it, it's difficult to unsee it.
