You really think that's bad? You really think that's "spot-able" as in its something you could spot with the naked eye?

I'm looking at the macro and not sure if I can see it.

It took Smoke pointing it out and a large image for me to see. My focus was on the hour markers, reflection blades and how dark the dial can get in low light.

My use of the word bad was strong, but the rest of the dial is amazing and frankly, botched text is bad when ZZF was able to get so many other things right!

From your watch pics above, it looks like the hands color is a tad creamier than the markers. But looks good. Not as bad as the BP which is bright white.

I think that's the way Rolex made the X on that mark iii dial (or whatever you want to call it). There are gen Rolex dials with an X that's a little wanky I've looked and noticed that before and didn't think the X was anything other than a copy of that dial.

The Pic I posted is a gen dial.

The cf dial gets very very dark. And it takes only the very slightest adjustment to go from completely green to completely dark. Here are some I just happened to have that I took last week. I'll try to take some specifics when I get home from vacation.

I’ve been focussed on a couple franken dj projects and promised myself no more reps till I get a gen 16030 - but I think I might have to make an exception for this hulk - I’ve taken no interest in subs for a couple years but damn!! I know I'm waaaay late to the party on this - I haven't been on or posted in a while, but to my eye, the Clean factory dial actually looks cleaner in some aspects to the Gen. How is that even possible?

I was really looking hard at this stuff about a year ago and it seemed at the time the best Sub reps were a tossup between Noob and Arf, and it was a matter of which details were more important to you - they were both good in their own ways, but they also both missed the mark on a couple of things. The ZZF reps look really really good. Like, unless you really knew what you were looking at, you'd never be able to tell, and even then probably not with the naked eye without magnification.

Hey Mate - Yes, the CF dial is excellent but it is not cleaner looking than the gen The gen hulk dial is an work of art. If CF fixes the wonky x, this dial will be the “best alternative to gen”. For sure though, it is a good time to buy Hulk again!!

While it's probably the best LV dial out there,it still suffers from the one flaw that no factory has been able to fix which is that the sunburst is too strong under the light, which creates "rays" of sunburst. The gen does not have that and the gradient of colours and lights are much more subtle.
