Clean Factory 116610LV Hulk Dial Review vs Gen and ZZF New Hulk Sample!

CF dial installed. And now BP dial loose.
They look almost the same in these pics. Bp is slightly darker. For the sake of the gen looking print and lume plots I’d be happy with the CF as is. I think it’s still an upgrade, and it matches gen hands well!

I mentioned in an earlier post how the cf dial is very similar to the BP dial. On some angles, the hue of the dial is slightly different. And so far the biggest concern is that it doesn't get dark but it does get dark - just at different angles.
I keep realizing that I'm looking at it and catch it being really really dark. So it has the ability to change colors. It's just the angle that you get colors varies from that of the BP dial. It's growing on me more and more.

That is a very good point. I don't see anyone mentioning having to slim down the BP dial to fit the case. If you bought one and it didn't require modding then you were sent the incorrect dial. I use to get them for $ 50 each!

I read somewhere that BP don’t make that same Miyota dial anymore..... I could be wrong. The dial that BP sends out now i think is used in the VRF also? In 2836 and 3135 And they don’t need trimming.
That is accurate. The Miyota took modification and I always had a hard time finding a modder to do it (they didn’t want to risk damaging the dial since their no longer obtainable). I had two Miyota dials and a regular 28xx at one point. No mod needed for 28xx BP dial.
Also accurate. Miyota dials have been long gone. Anybody buying a BP dial from the factory in the past few years has gotten a 28xx dial, not Miyota.

What i want to make sure about BP or CF dial, is that my noob LV dial shines too bright and when get direct hit by the light it tend to spread the sunburst into many burst. While the gen is always only spread in one burst. I hope you guys understand what i meant, because i want to share the pic but cannot.
is the BP and CF dial burst like the gen ?

I've been wearing my hulk over a few of holiday gatherings and parties and I have to say that I really like this dial.
For me, one of the things that make a hulk so fascinating is because it often looks different in person than it does in pictures. Like you look at a Picture and see it one way but you look at it with the naked eye and it has a different look to it. And that is one of the problems with the hulk, that a lot of times many people don't give any thought to how a hulk looks as much as people worry about how it photographs.
One of the things I will saw and noticed with this dial is that when you're looking at it, it :looks: really good. It does get really dark and not only that, but when indoors and looking at it at any angle but head on, it looks black.
Anyway, the more time I have with this dial in the watch, the more I like it because it has effects similar to the gen hulk. Inside/indoors, it does almost look black quite often. I do have to spend more time with it outside and in sunlight though. But for now indoor in normal lighting and outside in overcast weather, the dial looks amazing and it gets really really dark at the slightest tilt of an angle.
