Clean Factory 116610LV Hulk Dial Review vs Gen and ZZF New Hulk Sample!

The great thing about the BP dial is its ability to be black and green at the same time. I ordered a ZZF too but these pics are disappointing. It doesn't look like it can go black and keep the green flare. Hope I'm wrong.

A couple of quick shots after installing the CF dial. Excuse it still being a bit dirty after handling a lot and the slightly trashed hands. Installed on a Noob with gen 2836 so had to move the dial feet and it ended up slightly rotated clockwise but that’s what I got working in a heatwave and blanketed by bushfire smoke. Still looks good on the wrist so I’m happy and will just leave it this way.
Hit me up on PM if you have some near mint sub hands to fit ETA.
Noob base with gen ETA, CF dial and insert, Prof crystal, ARF bracelet.

Those hands are a deal breaker in my eyes. Hour hand geometry looks off.

The dial is stunning.

Bezel teeth are sharp and pointy.

DW is nice.

But I couldn’t live with those hands.

The dial is stunning.

Bezel teeth are sharp and pointy.

Shows how similar they really are. The apparent wrong triangle lume plot, the lume width on the minute hand.. they really don't look that bad.

They don't seem that different on this picture, but IMO it's a night and day difference on the ZZF. The stock ZZF hands seem too flat.

Indeed. I thought I took more pics to show the difference at angles but sadly not. I mainly took this pic to show how close the lume colour is to gen.

On the hands, just a slight difference (length one way or another) looks off against the backdrop of the dial. To me anyway. Again, most don’t even know until someone points it out and then it’s all everyone sees.

The hour hand, when at the 6, 9, 12 markers, should just ever so slightly touch the marker. =< It is especially noticiable when it’s at those points. But as I said, most people don’t even notice it until it’s mentioned. This was evident in the ARF V2s as a batch got released with the short maxi hands that were fatter and shorter than the hands normally on a sub. Many many many people accepted qc pics and wore the watch for a long time before ever realiz8ng it. Only then did it become an issue. And of course the problem is solved with a set of gen hands.

Based in Scandinavia, I waited a bit less than 2 years. I guess this was crazy lucky ... That's nothing especially considering it will be the first watch I'm buying from them...

On that day I forced my wife to go by the AD to "have a look". I asked the staff if the list was opened for the sport models and yes it was! My wife and I both signed up on the "wish list", her for a Daytona - let's see when they are going to contact her
