Hello, I've assembled my first 5513 replica with parts from Raffledials.
Assembly process toolk a couple of hours (first watch I assemble completely) and first time with an ETA 2824...
Only visble defect on the parts was a minor imperfection in the dial on the top triangle. The rest quite ok speecially value for money.
The end result
Is very nice...
But when compared to the Real one is when you see the differences:
The glass is too bumpy original is different (any suggestion for a repllacement plexy more like the real one?
The dial has thinner lines and more separated from whatch case body...
Angles where the crown goes have to be adjusted as in the tutorial. polishing at short distance is not as good as the old rolex (45 years old)
The higher BPM from the 2824 is noticeable but i like it...
Conclusion: being the first watch I have built from parts I think the raffledials parts offered good quality for money not perfect but nice to wear and if you are not an expert tricky to see the difference...
Question: Is the VSF case a good value for money vs this?
