Off topic question I see a lot of members bought the tc sd bracelet I have a sub 5512 and the bracelet it came with is really cheap and lite, I emailed tc and he told me that it should be the same size as the sd but to check on the forum to be sure so my question is does the sd tc bracelet fit for a 5512 sub?

Finally grabbed one of these and have a gen 16600 insert, TC dial and hands, and TC bracelet. Just need to take the time to complete... I actually have it on a nato now and really like it. Will post a thread once I get time to take on the project.
I will say, this is one of the best out of box reps out there for sure. I think the dial is probably the biggest issue I have. It's ok but the printing/typography is a little wonky and hands could be better - but otherwise a great rep. Could live with the minor things if I had to
If I didn't already have the gen insert and other parts, id probably leave it alone (apart from the dial/hands).

sherrif i also have a bp sd its great just the hands annoy me.but im getting tc hands they fit on hi beat cheapo movement thank god.

Sorry did some research and found that this watch is a 1665 case and need 580 end links. Cant seem to find anything else
Yeah. I just got the dial/hand combo from TC and have read some folks had no problem installing and some had to make modifications. I have yet to open it up and try but I have the 2836 movement and will keep you all posted.
I'm just now getting comfortable with doing more and more myself. Before, I'd take everything to my local watch smith but now, I really enjoy doing this stuff myself. At least the stuff that doesn't require major modification...
Unfortunately, I have clumsy hands and fat fingers so you'll NEVER see me attempt any luming or precision repairs ;-)

Wrong bracelet for the 5512. You could try it and wear it, but it's like putting 20" rims on a Fiat spyder.
