Is there a significant difference in using a gen tube vs a TC tube in this watch (besides the price) when combined with a gen 703 crown?

The watch was ordered through Ken (ETA 2836). Waiting on the Clark click spring, BK DWO, TC hands/dial/bracelet and gen bezel insert with pearl. Planning to order a gen crown/tube soon. PBDad is doing the CG shaping and building the watch.

TC tube is just as good for a fraction of the price, will need a re-tap of the case though..

alright so ive partially sorted out the sticking hands issue. any recommendation in the conus for dial swapping and movement servicing?

Just got my first QC pics (ever), and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience. I know from reading on the site not to expect perfection, but I was hoping for a centered pearl and no obviously crooked dial markers. Asked TD to see if they could get a better one for me, but I'm left feeling a bit pessimistic about my chances.

Just remember that what what see on full screen picture shows an awful lot of flaws that you'll probably never see with the watch in hand.
