BP Seadweller.. Best SD available Period

Just remember that what what see on full screen picture shows an awful lot of flaws that you'll probably never see with the watch in hand.

I do understand that, and I can live with slightly crooked dial markers, but I know that the pearl being off to the left would bug me to the point that I would never wear the watch.

Fortunately, shifting the pearl over is really straightforward. Pop off the bezel (being careful to not lose the click spring--even better, replace the crappy BP spring with a gen spec one, push the insert out, push the bezel
back down, turn it so it clicks, line up the insert, and push it in place.

The crooked dial markers, well... Not fixed so easily

But moving the whole insert that way won't center the pearl within the triangle, will it?

Just buy new Clark insert and a wm pearl that will solve the centering issue

All these mods cost quite a bit though. Easy to spend $1k plus improving this watch. I'd rather just live with imperfection and enjoy my much less expensive watch, greenish hands and all. Just hoping to get a centered pearl like the ones I see of many other members' BP SD's throughout this thread.

bp pearl is good... it's very rare to see wrong pearl on it

I can tell you all about spending 1K
Its better just to have the CGs worked and maybe just put a gen crown on it......Really no need for all these other mods unless your very anal....Just wear the watch and enjoy it!

Maybe an odd question: how many removeble links should be on either side of the clasp? Just received mine in and it looks like I am missing a few links on the 6 o'clock side; only one screw, and that one attaches to the clasp.

Mine band is the same way, only one removable link on the 6 o'clock side. I usually have to remove a link or two on my other reps (Sub & GMT), however this one seems shorter as I did not have to remove a link
