I have an issue where the bottom of the watch meets the bracelet - there's a small gap in between. Is this something that a watchsmith can fix or do I need to buy a new bracelet?

You might try using thicker springbars

Mine band is the same way, only one removable link on the 6 o'clock side. I usually have to remove a link or two on my other reps (Sub & GMT), however this one seems shorter as I did not have to remove a link

Sorry to hear it's not jus me. While I don't usually have to remove a link i do usually have to move the fine adjustment spring bar p a notch or two. Just pulled the trigger on a tc bracelet. everyone seems to agree it's a must and it looks to have an extra link or two.

I Have the same problem. Will the Clarks spring fix this issue?

I got a crappy click spring too.. it broke the day I unwrapped the watch.

I had a couple of 16610 springs from Star Time with one that worked. For some reason, I ordered two of the same springs and received two different springs. One had a right angle on it that was longer than the other (the section that goes into the click spring hole). The hole itself is larger than the spring wire, but it worked great! Nice click feel and no issues.

YMMV

You remember? From when post 142? Lol

Like it matters, this thread goes back to the creation of the BP SD. Lol not really ancient history...

The click is an on going issue, some say the Clark works, other say not. It's all pretty simple really. I have had all variations of the BP SD (and there have been a few) from the early 1,1/2" long clicks to the most recent.

Firstly the inner bezel teeth are not as gen, they slope backwards at an angle. Secondly, the click post hole has always been too big for the click wire diameter. I know other people have reported that this is not an issue, however I feel it is.

surely the click wire has to fit snuggly in the click post hole, it goes without saying that if there is any play in this fit it will facilitate backlash. I personally drill the post hole to 1.2mm dia and make a click from the same diameter st/st spring wire. It's not as easy as it sounds, but it does work very well when executed properly.

On a final note, A gen SD click should be and is stiffer than the sub click
