Are clarks hands better than tc? I ordered a full TC SD set (dial,dwo,hands,bracelet) and now i'm just waiting for my BP SD to arrive.

I'll look it up for you P. ;) just so you know the lume sucks on Clark's. I tried to re lume the Clark's but whatever combo I picked it wasn't close enough. TC's were better constructed I thought.

The Clark hands are the ones listed under Rolex Tudor for the silver Sub hands that Raddave posted.

Hi all,

I am a relatively new member and based on my research on this forum the BPSD seems an excellent rep for the money.

I decided to focus on Rolexes for now. I particularly like the Sub and the SD - black and SS.

Would you agree that the BPSD is great out of the box, or is there a better rep in this category? Is it a 16600 or a 116600? Is Supermirrors the best place to source one? If not, can somebody post the link to a good one?

I seem to understand that in order to get a good quality rep you need to spend more for the Sub, the BPSD seems cheaper? (But still of great quality?). Why?

Thanks heaps for your help...Lots to learn.. ;-)

It's a 16600 and available at most of our td's here. It doesn't matter from who you buy, the bp sd will be the same.

Thats not entirely true.
While the caseset and construction is the same it can be had with different movements use care when chosing.

Thanks for the reply, however, I was comparing it to the one posted in Supermirrors' thread, the hour hand is not as skinny as the one I can see in some of the pictures above. Do you know if the current version of BPSD has skinny hour hand?

Yeah the hands dont look right on that issue

2836 clone or eta is best choce IMO


EDIT: thats the new ceramic seadweller, not the classic seadweller every one is refering to in this thread the case is wrong on that model

Quite obvious need works on the hands and datewheel. But it's good enough for daily use, at least for now
