You cannot make an overall "which is better" statement.
It mostly depends on, what are you plannung with your watch?
Franken / SuperFranken it = go for JF/ARF/RAF as basewatch (if you do not want to source viet cases)
Therefore these are just perfect.

When you want to wear it "as is"
- the actual BP's are great.
- you get amazing lot of watch for this amount
- you can later "upgrade" with some limited factors to GEN insert and possible GEN dial

(You can do the same of course with RAF/ARF)

But to be honest, it is great that BP is back un the game for these 5-digits.
SELs are looking really good and also crown guards, from what we have seen on the actual pics/QC pics from members.

I’m contemplating swapping out my old SA movement and replace it with a VR. Will SA dial, hands and BP case fit the VR movement without modding ?

Yes 1:1 swap bro. I just did this on my LN. Keep the SA DW, mine was quite nice.

It looks like V2015, V2022 & the new V2023 are all same spec. Ie they are all the same down to the serial numbers. Same mold and part supplier. Biggest update is the VR vs the unreadable SA.
