So here is my new build 14060M
Reshaped Ali case with 1.3mm lugholes
Raffles dial and bracelet 580 endlinks
2mm springbars with rounded ends
NH38 with Ali hands
Ali crown
Slight age on hands and dial to have a subtle off white
Pip a bit more aged as it is more exposed than dial and hands

Case is 39mm
insert is same dimensions as gen
25 286 crystal

Bezel rotates 120 clicks unidirectional

Cheap build but I feel it looks better than the sum of its parts
This is awesome! Do you have a link to the 39mm case?

The case is a random Ali NH35 case. lots of them, many vendors. Out of the box, it’s rather meh. Heavy work needed on lugs, holes needed redrill.

The bezel is that old school wire spring retainer, but it clicks 😅

I changed the crystal (creative setting needed) into the opening that is much too large and modified the bezel to fit the 14060 insert

Hell yeah, this is really great work man. The subtle aging works well and 39mm is the sweet spot for me. Can't beat these five digit subs!

There’s a thinner caseback available from raffles for subs that people have often swapped out to make the BPs a little slimmer. Can confirm it fits as I ended up with one in my parts bin and have it on my 16610LN and it makes it a lot more wearable imo. I’ll try to find the link and post later
Can you show us this case back please? Do a comparison between this thinner one and the stock one. Thanks friend

Never mind I had the tab still opened, here it is.
Thanks! Great news, but I’ve read this on the page you send:

It do not have the slot for setting the rubber gasket for the seal

Does this mean that it is even less waterproof?

Yes. If it doesn't have a recess for a gasket, then it is not water proof and has basically zero resistance.

You could have a recess machined into the case, or simply use some automotive gasket maker to help seal it up.

Just wondering why the talk/reason about changing the case back? Is the stock Bp not gen thickness?

the recess is inside the case, the gen back has no recess for the gasket, it fits directly

in my opinion it is not, anyway they are trying to make it less thick for a better fit. It has already been done by fitting a 2180 case back of the GMT and Explorer which is 4.4 mm thick

The stock Ali case.
Then I sanded the caseback to gain a little bit of thinness’s
interesting, by the way, can I ask you how you sanded it? I want to do this too to make it as subtle as possible. Thank you

Hard to make it subtle

Best way is to mount the caseback on one of those metal adjustable movement holders, then sand it on 240 grit sandpaper

It takes ages to do

Then repolish and then redo the brush
