BP Re-Releases 5-Digit Submariners with VR3135

I’ve never seen a BP polished center link bracelet. Tempted to GL this watch as is.

My BP 16610LV.
- Deep Crystal
- VS 3135 with VR calendar plate and datewheel to make it align to the BP dial date window. But i have certain dates that only flip halfway at 12’ and fully flips at 3’ so i’ll need to eventually open it back up and inspect.
- Aliexpress hands to match the correct hands for this model.
- ARF bezel insert.
- edges of bracelet filed and repolished to be less sharp and more comfortable. Bracelet and sides rebrushed.
- New gaskets everywhere. Stock BP gaskets were no good, and i think the crown came without any gaskets inside so i had to redo all of those to water proof it.
- New movement mount to fit 3135 into the case. It had originally come with double sided tape on the sides of the movement to keep it stable inside the case. The case seems to be made for 2836, so its not a perfect fit for the 3135.
With all of the mods, it wouldve been cheaper just to get an ARF 16610LV lol.
Yeah. Like we say. If you want to keep it stock, BP is the best OOTB for the price.

But if you're willing to mod it, put in grease work, replace with gen, RAF is a better base.

Any chance to share the AliX link where to find hours Hands, i bought a couples from two different vendors, they are good but the lume doesn't match the Dial Marker...

I tried to go back and find the link but the item and store are no longer available on Aliex for some reason now.
I just remember it was like +$50.
I went through and looked through all the listings for hands, asked sellers to send me actual photos, etc. I got pretty lucky to find it I think

Hi, I am so sorry for bringing up an older thread; I believe there's no point in creating a new thread just to ask a question while doing my research. So long story short, I am looking into getting the BP 16613 with VR3135 (link). I plan to get a Gen bezel to replace the BP, but I am not sure what is the case construction of the BP model.
I have read and followed this thread for a while now, but I want to make sure that I don't get myself confused.
To summarize:
- The BP gold color is good
- They no longer use the wired bezel, but rather similar to the 6 digits?
- The Gold-text dial is not as bright, but I don't care because it is meant to be an older model.
- The bezel can now accept the gen insert
- Gen dial will fit, but the edge will show
If anyone who owns the BP model can help me with some pictures of the case bezel construction, I truly appreciate it.

6 digit style bezel, different construction. bezel insert will fit but not a gen bezel assembly. gen bezel insert requires sanding.

Thank you very much. I still think BP is the best for the buck right now. It would be nice if ARF/RAF made the 16613 line.
Just got my QC pics from Li for the 16613LB and It looked good to me.
The 16613LN I got a couple months ago has become my favorite daily.
can you install deep crystals on these ? planning to get the 2 tone blue and swap parts on it..can anyone advise thanks
So what’s the story with this version from Andrew? He offers both versions and both are available from now from BP. Different movement, better gold, different bracelet? Anyone check out this one?

What are you guys’ thoughts of a 16613 with a plain stainless bracelet? The two tone is definitely part of the “flash.” I’ve seen a couple images online with a gen that way (of course can’t find them anymore). Just thinking about options to mix it up. Anybody try this out?
