I’d maybe say BP. ARF is great, but for the price, and with vr movement the BP is a steal.I’m way behind on this, sorry.
For a stock/OOTB 16610ln, ARF or BP?
nah man, bp dw is fine, just as good if not better, clean dws have a strange 2*drawer
They are both VR 3135 DWs so only a batch difference would be present if any.I found this in the parts drawer it looks like a 3135 date disc from a clean gmt master. Worth tossing in the bp 16610LV?
For either LN or LV I would choose BP now. The BP bezel construction is now just like a 6 digit and the CGs are better. Who can forget all the RAFARF bezel issues requiring an extra bezel tension ring (large washer) and a replacement click?I’m way behind on this, sorry.

Both LVs need work - the ARF dial hour markers have badly mismatched lume plots to the hands. The BP has all maxi hands instead of just a maxi minute hand. Sourcing and replacing the hands is easier and cheaper than a dial.
Wait, what? So if I want to replace the insert, I can just pop the bezel off with a knife, replace the insert and just press the bezel back on again? The BP bezel construction is now just like a 6 digit
However, for the ARF, what tool is needed to remove the insert?Wait, what? So if I want to replace the insert, I can just pop the bezel off with a knife, replace the insert and just press the bezel back on again?
Correct. It is identical to 6 digit construction but has a 5 digit bezel.Wait, what? So if I want to replace the insert, I can just pop the bezel off with a knife, replace the insert and just press the bezel back on again?
Game changer. That's it then, gonna order me a two-tone BP.Correct. It is identical to 6 digit construction but has a 5 digit bezel.
I always remove a 6 digit bezel in a plastic washing-up bowl.Don't lose those tiny springy springs though.
Case knife or sturdy plastic pry tool with a thin tip. 5 digit bezels (gen-spec construction) pop off pretty easily unless you mix and match parts. Sometimes there can be tolerance issues. However, for the ARF, what tool is needed to remove the insert?
I haven't seen a TT or FG case with the bezel removed so we can only assume it's the same until someone (maybe a TD) can verify.Game changer. That's it then, gonna order me a two-tone BP.
Oh ok, how about the 16610LN? Do we know if that has a 6 digit type bezel?I haven't seen a TT or FG case with the bezel removed so we can only assume it's the same until someone (maybe a TD) can verify.
should be, tooOh ok, how about the 16610LN? Do we know if that has a 6 digit type bezel?
