I found this in the parts drawer it looks like a 3135 date disc from a clean gmt master. Worth tossing in the bp 16610LV?
They are both VR 3135 DWs so only a batch difference would be present if any.

I’m way behind on this, sorry.

For a stock/OOTB 16610ln, ARF or BP?
For either LN or LV I would choose BP now. The BP bezel construction is now just like a 6 digit and the CGs are better. Who can forget all the RAFARF bezel issues requiring an extra bezel tension ring (large washer) and a replacement click?

Both LVs need work - the ARF LV dial hour markers have badly mismatched (and way too green) lume plots compared to the hands. The BP LV has all maxi hands instead of just a maxi minute hand. Sourcing and replacing the hands is easier and cheaper than a dial.

Wait, what? So if I want to replace the insert, I can just pop the bezel off with a knife, replace the insert and just press the bezel back on again?
However, for the ARF, what tool is needed to remove the insert?

Case knife or sturdy plastic pry tool with a thin tip. 5 digit bezels (gen-spec construction) pop off pretty easily unless you mix and match parts. Sometimes there can be tolerance issues.

I've used this blue plastic tool for years on my gen for bezel removal. It doubles nicely as an insert press when press fit inserts are stubborn getting than last little sector to seat. Of the 3 gen inserts I have for my gen 16710, one of them is 0.01mm larger in diameter and is a royal PITA to seat.

Game changer. That's it then, gonna order me a two-tone BP.
I haven't seen a TT or FG case with the bezel removed so we can only assume it's the same until someone (maybe a TD) can verify.

Oh ok, how about the 16610LN? Do we know if that has a 6 digit type bezel?

I use an old Victorian table knife for popping bezels off.

Strong steel but very thin. Masking tape on the case first of course.

What is consensus on the LV bezel insert? Appreciate it is flat 4, but how is the colour?
