I'd appreciate some feedback on the attached V3 QC from Puretime. Specifically, I've been through the archives for the ARF SD43, and know that there's an issue with the bezel markers being somewhat misaligned. Some members discuss the marker at 15 almost "kissing" the crystal. My QC from Puretime seems a bit more than usual. Are they all like this?

Mine is a 116660 ARF, look at the 30 and 50 on the bezel, wonky looking to me, but not worth rejecting. Just going to get gen bezel and replace. Yours might be off a little but otherwise good to me.

Agreed. Popham it’s a damn good example. Yes 15 bezel marker a tick close to crystal but you also get reflections from the raised crystal. Not worth rejecting when all else seems spot on with yours. Grab it.

Gens also have this issue sometimes but not many gen owners notice.

I pulled the trigger on A2824 V3 a few months ago and I just can't deal with the DW anymore, are you guys replacing them or changing the xtal? I can't figure out which one needs to be changed!

What’s wrong with your DW? thick printing? No crystal will fix that. You need gen DW. Or is it the glare of the mag window that bugs you? In that case you need gen or prof crystal.

Gen is the way to go.

I've read the mag is off, 3 instead 2.5.. really though it's just the numerals once it hits the 20's and 30's.

Any recommendations on a modder that can pull of a gen DW on a 2824?
