My best results have been jason caseback, pagani case (caus jasons is poor), and swap the crown stem and crown with a cheap knockoff crown (i didnt check if the jason crown would fit with proper crown stem tbh). Also i swapped crystal for hesalite cheapie high dome

still has problem of pagani bezel, but that bothered me less than jason case.
That was my exact strategy as well - the Jason crown in my experience didn't fit on the Pagani case, as it was too wide to fit the Pagani crownguard area, so I swapped for a rep AliX one.

Would love to see what that looks like with the hesalite high dome (and what your source for that crystal was!)

McCaw. "PHD HI Dome Plastic Watch Crystal - GS 32 - 33.0mm". But most any watch supply shop will have the same

I just got the weirdest case ever.
Black Snoopy from qwer44 i think

I had to destroy the case to get the dial out 😳
Apart from the caseback that opened up normally for a rep, the rest of the construction was quasi gen-like.

some old pics, but I do think the hesalite looks plenty better and worth the few dollars (local supply shop far cheaper than ali for some weird reason)

so i repeat my warning after investigation
do not buy the black snoopy from qwer44 shop

or if you do, prepare for the mod to be painful.
you will need to destroy the case to get the insides out, and it's pretty sure that the hands will get unset in the process
the dial is nice though.

You’ve peaked my morbid curiosity - got any pictures of the wreckage? 😂

All Black Snoopy with metal bracelet
Why are the newer snoopy reps coming out with such 'defined' stars in the moonphase wheel? They're almost invisible on the gen, and barely there on the cheap $15 reps, but now I'm seeing a LOT of these new ones come in like yours, with these huge white stars

All the black snoopys I’ve seen (other than 77’s) have had the white stars; some folks sharpie them out though. Biggest differences I’ve seen is how transparent the vertical part of the subdial is - some are fully solid, most are semi translucent, none are as clear as gen.

Watchdives 1860 came in today - unfortunately about an hour before I had to head to the airport for the Thanksgiving holiday, but I was able to fiddle enough to realize the 33mm stent is too small; will be ordering a 34mm and 35mm to test those when I get back. Will also have to do a crown swap of course.

It’s 14mm exactly in terms of thickness, and the crystal does seem slightly taller than the Pagani. Wasn’t able to take side by sides yet, so will have to do that next week as well. But the mid cases seem about the same thickness (with slightly different designs / curvatures). At first glance the bezel seemed taller than on the Pagani, but I’ll have to look more carefully later.

Anyone have a favorite Omega branded crown? The one I put on my Pagani is fine, the logo side just bulges out from the ridges which is unlike gen/unlike the Pagani or WD ones, making it stand out a bit more from the case.

Also - do you guys just write off a movement as junked if a stem breaks off inside? I’ve got enough spares (since they’re $2) to just swap the dial to a new one, but figured I’d see if there’s any advice on recovering the first one without going through that trouble.

The main point of the WD V2 case is that the sides are thinner, despite the watch being the same as the V2 and Pagani. The lug to lug is also smaller, the combination makes the watch more elegant

Mine is on its way. Sad about the 33mm. Looking forward to your test.

There are no speedmaster rep crown that I could find on Ali. I use whatever 6.5mm crown I can find, usually Seamaster

Weird. I ordered 2 and neither came with white stars. But I got em right when they first showed up, so maybe they disappeared

Well while waiting for QC on a Tudor I bit and did one too.

Case from:

Watch from:

I grabbed a six pack of PE50 spacers and glad I did, the 32mm fit perfectly.

Only issue is crown doesn’t properly screw down, maybe you can see in the picture. Thinking perhaps the stem is too long so might open her up again if I find the time.

Thanks all for the MANY entertaining pictures and indeed, how tos to get to this, cheers!
