Well while waiting for QC on a Tudor I bit and did one too.

Case from:

Watch from:

I grabbed a six pack of PE50 spacers and glad I did, the 32mm fit perfectly.

Only issue is crown doesn’t properly screw down, maybe you can see in the picture. Thinking perhaps the stem is too long so might open her up again if I find the time.

Thanks all for the MANY entertaining pictures and indeed, how tos to get to this, cheers!
If the stock tube does not screw it’s indeed the stem that’s too long
The good thing is that your dial seems centered correctly

Nice! Is that the PARNSRPE case with the curved bezel? They're listed at 14.5mm, curious if that's accurate. Not sure how I feel about the curved bezel as a concept yet 😅
You have a good eye 🤗

They are indeed slightly slimmer than the Bliger or Mechen. I like the curved insert, and it’s quite easy to just slap in a flat one if you want. They are most compatible between cases.

Good to know! Cheap and slimmer than the others is a potentially good combo if the quality is good - I might have to pick one up to try it out!

Guys you are by far the most knowledgeable here and I would have a couple of questions please.

If understood well whatchdive and pagani are the best options for a slimmer case.

1. Is the WD V2 still available? Do they sell the case-set alone too?
2. How thick is the PARNSRPE case? Is it good quality? is it sold as case-set alone too?

Thanks!

v2. Recognizable with shorter pushers and slimmer « edge » see next pic

Never seen it as case only

I like the Parnsrpe case. It’s at par with the Bliger. I would say a shade slimmer like 0.2mm 🤣 and comes with a flat dome crystal and inclined bezel. See the last black watch I posted

The Pagani is better than any of the other VK63 cases I’ve seen so far, but you have to make sure you’re getting the correct version (they’ve got up to six now, and only V3 or V6 have the correct bezel). The Watchdives 1862 is even better than the Pagani, but they aren’t currently producing them. The new Watchdives 1860 /might/ still be better than the Pagani (but not as good as the 1862) but we’re not sure yet. The Parnsrpe seems promising (comes in silver and black) - I’ve not tried it yet, but I trust Karbon! Just note that the bezel it comes with is curved up toward the crystal rather than flat like on a gen.

Oh and then there’s the Corgeut if you don’t mind the protruding pushers and the more vintage look, closer to the Omega FOIS style

looks like v1 per questions area and case looks thick. def worth asking though. i think WD has moved to 1861=v1 1860=crap crystal v2, 1862=the good v2?

Maybe I got shipped the V1 indeed.
I took just a glance at it and packed it back…

That said the case shape really looked like the v2.

Anyway, as I mentioned, it was not good enough for me to keep for me, nor was it worth making a sellable build from it that would be worth the premium vs a Jason

The 1860 has a different (‘worse’) crystal than the 1861 and 1862, but I think it’s the same type as the Pagani. The 1860 was built to be a Pagani competitor, since the 1861 and 1862 retailed for around $150 instead of $80.

I think the 1862’s case was actually a mold of a moonswatch, but I might be wrong. The 1861 is the same size as the 1862, but their factory missed a finishing step and never chiseled the angle designs into the midcase, so they just appear chonky even though they’re technically the same size.

The upcoming 1863 is supposed to be a 39mm case with a lot of different dial options, rather than the standard 42mm.

The 1860 has its own case shape (unique from the 1861 or 1862 or Pagani) and is 14mm thick including crystal vs. the Pagani’s 14.2mm.

It’s also the only option with the “dot over 90” on the bezel, if anyone cares about that 😅

Thank you so much for sharing all the details above.

I was about to pull the trigger for the Neiton case set. It's cheap as chips but the chance to get a sample not suitable for a Moonswatch project seems relevant :(
