Hi,
As far as I know the hands for PE50 and VK63 are:
PE50:
Hour: 1.2mm
Minute: 0.7mm
Seconds: 0.17mm
Sub dials: 0.2mm

VK63
Hour: 1.5mm
Minute: 0.9mm
Seconds: 0.38mm
Sub dials: 0.32/0.37mm

Is this right?
If so at least for the minute hand should this work like this. It’s only 0.15mm.

I can't answer your question unfortunately, I used a sharpy to colour the original snoopy hands and reused those.

Hello everyone, newbie here.
I've always wanted to wear more my speedy, but also too afraid to ruin it and since I fell in love with Karbon74's work and I pulled the plug.
Just received my WD1863 and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. Comparing it to my gen vintage speedy there are a few noticeable differences, but nothing major. Case size is slightly different, so is thickness and bezel. If you want I can post some pictures.

Now onto the fun part.
I'm planning to make a FOIS homage, swapping the movement for a gen one I have lying around. Already found the hands for it (ETA 2824 should use the same size) and the crown from Ali.

I'm uncertain in relation to the dial. What would you recommend for a vintage look, MOON or MERCURY? I will age the indeces and hands as well to look like tritium.

Thanks!

FOIS you need to use a classic moon and paint the white markers
If you are using the ETA G10 then yes, the 2824 should fit nicely

It’s a bit hard to find hands that have that specific sword shape and lume cutouts

Ask me how I know..

I found a couple of really nice ones for the NH35 but didn't want to go through the hassle of crimping them. After a lot of digging I found these, not perfect. But good enough (style E21)
2824 hands

Second best option would be to look for used swatches assuming they ever made something similar and the hands fit

Since you are able to crimp them, you could consider these which seem slightly better

i bought about all sword hands on AliX already 🤓
i like to look at them myself

did not choose yet which one
but you don't need to crimp NH35 hour and minutes hands for the ETA

you just need to slightly widen the second hand from .21 to .25
Super easy

By the way.. Did anybody find reps with textured dials on dhg? All the "newer" sellers don't have it.

Nope
