Most of us do not QC the moonswatches from DHGate. There is no option to. Jason007 sells em but they are $50.

.Has anyone spent the big money on one from Jason007 to see if it is any different? Particularly if it has the etched S in the crystal and has the concentric circles in the subdials. And if the plastic case is any better, even though that doesn’t really apply to most uses in this thread.

But I’ve also been looking for a color accurate Neptune case for forever after getting a laughably bad one from Swatch1, so I asked pretty much every vendor.
Plus some of the reps are quite obviously bad, so I figured I’d stay far away from any sellers who had a black dial Earth or terrible Neptune for example.
The Neptune issue is particularly frustrating since they’ve got the color correct for the Super Blue Moon case, and they’re supposed to be the same - so they can get it right, they just aren’t.
For what it’s worth none of the vendors ever refused to send QCs - a handful never replied at all, but the rest all sent some.
When you do QC for DHGate I've seen multiple people receive the same picture. Then they just send whatever watch. DHGate sellers are notoriously shady. The only person on there who is super decent about real QC I know of is Jason007. But there is a price! Discount however if you use his WhatsApp and don't go through DHGate.Oh really? except the super blue dial I got was one of the v1 junkers that was too blue and too small.The super blue has a pulsometer rather than a tachymetre, but that just makes it a fun custom piece

One thing I just realized - the sub dials on these reps don't function do they? Only the seconds hand.
10 and 6 work fine. 2:00 moves, so it operates, but it’s not supposed to so thus the freeze mod. And if you have a Snoopy or Super Blue Moon the 2:00 subdial technically “rotates”, just not actually the current correct moon phase.

Haven't received or played around with these yet but figured I'd share that I found these replacement PE50 hands that look pretty similar to the FOIS-style hands for $3 on AliX, and they come in Silver and Gold options.
They don't have any lume, but they're actually metal so whatever minimal light there is at night will theoretically reflect off of 'em anyway.
Anyone else have a source for other fun PE50 hand options?

I received the 2 Speedmaster Rep Case backs from jason007 today. Only 2 1/2 weeks shipping time to the US.
They are exactly the same as the one that I got back in May.

- 13.65 mm overall thickness with an older, thinner Pagani Case and the jason007 Case back.
- 14.05 mm thick with an older, thinner Pagani Case and Pagani Case back.
- 14.25 mm thick with all the newer style Pagani Cases with Pagani Case backs.
- 14.45 mm thick for the jason007 case. Yes, the Cool Omega Case back is thinner, but the Case itself is Thicker.
- 14.80 to 15.20 mm thick with the typical Aliexpress Cases.

The Pagani case back I have is noticeably thinner than the rep case back I have, which is oddly the opposite of your findings.
Anyone familiar with a sloped bezel inserts from Alix? These inserts make the high dome crystal, seem less pronounced. I've included a photo from a Reddit user. Awaiting DM back..
