Angus's pics show the lume of the pearl to be a different blue color than the dial lume...hmmm...was hoping to see a ceramic insert with a better simulation of the platinum numbers and a new better pearl too and the black engraving on the clasp. the bad rehaut watch posted previously has the correct clasp engraving....aarrgg

i may still get this though.

I own a real Rolex and a noob GMTIIc, really happy with both.

Not only the biggest, but also the best, as they claim of course.

I disagree that they're trying hard one year or more.

The sunburst dial was available long time ago.

Some modders using their equipment, could match the bezel color in one

month.

When they really tried, they made watches like the new Jaeger LeCoultre

or AP diver V2.

You saw it in the flesh, If I remember well, I think you were expecting

more, than a marketing trick.

I don't think you want to buy this one.

But if you do, you have the skills, you can mod it.

I'll wait for a better version.

As for the luthmariner, who cares if the supercase is way off,

it's pure fun :lol:

Did I tell you i love your mods? :)

The issue was never with the dial, or the colour of the numbers in the bezel, but the colour of the ceramic itself. All other versions are horrible colours. This is the first one I've seen that manages to get both the bezel green and the dial green pretty damn close. And yes, Angus said they have been waiting/working for a year to get it correct.

We already know that they are working on updated ceramic subs which is good. But they are not going to be out for a while yet. So they have used the current ceramic sub base, which isn't bad, and made the Hulk.

Yes I've handled the gen, it's stunning. The AP Diver and the JLC diver are also flawed in some ways (according to some) and are also about $100 more to buy even a clone version. I'm not going to defend this further than that. You either like it and can live with the flaws (I can) or just wait for the newer ceramic version in however many months time. Which I will probably get as well.

Oh my, looks wonderful. I'll buy, are they available now?

Quick question, are the next gen sub-c's supposed to have an hour hand update (correct thickness) when they come out down the road?

Looks like the new sub c's are not actually coming. Angus was wrong. Only the new 42mm explorers are coming from Noob. Looks like this is the best we will see for a while.

Gotchya. Good enough I suppose. There are ways to correct the minor imperfections if one chooses to do so.

Are these LV's available now?

i don't think ive seen any of the dealers offer this piece on their section but most can source it. was just wondernig if anyone had asked and can provide a price quote here

"Roll-your-own" has been the answer for some time now, with regards to the Sub-C.
