I just received a 21j from tt and I like it enough to put it on my daily wear rota . For the money I can live with the flaws until a better version comes out.......

it's still the wrong color though, if you were to describe the type of green the gen is, both bezel and dial, emerald green would be a good descriptor. the watch in the above post is generally british racing green. plus that hideous rehaut.

i'm so stoked about the coming new hulk subc, i'm checking the forums almost every fifteen minutes looking for the release.

So, update on the situation. Noobfactory is releasing a new ceramic LV based on the current link of ceramic reps that they do.

From Angus in his section over on RG

Yes it is the final version and it is the normal version, not the super ultimate version, but damn this is a sure deal, very limited first batch, I have ordered 50 pcs and hope they can pass me enough Price will be only around US$228-248 for Asian clone, what else we can ask for

They are re-making all the Rolex models and I think it will be months. If you like this and I suggest you to take this and wait for the ultimate and you have something to wear during the wait hehe. US$200 is nothing for such a nice watch

The noob maker took more than 1 year to make the color as close as possible. The could actually release it one year ago with wrong color but they didnt!

Detailed pics and video coming tomorrow.

Yes the base watch is still just the standard noob ceramic sub, but the important things are there. The bezel colour looks nice and it has the sunburst dial. Lets just wait and see what the bigger pictures look like. Angus was getting a sample this morning.

yep i know, we can still mod it, but to be honest i was expecting AR cyclop, or correct hand or superlumed.... but to get the right bezl and dial color is great improvements...

This isn't the new updated ceramic line of reps from the noobmaker, those will come in a few months.

He's got it listed at $348, which is a surprise, considering that the movement shown is definitely a clone movement. It's also a full $30 more expensive than TS price with gen swiss movement.

Don't know if pricing is final but this is what is up on Puretime at this moment vs timeshops.

TS - Asian copy 2836 - 186USD exclude shipping. - Puretime $238 +$52 difference
TS - Asian 2813 Automatic - 136USD exclude shipping. - Puretime $148 +$12 difference
TS - Swiss ETA 2836-2 Automatic - 318USD exclude shipping. Puretime $348 +$30 difference

Luthmariner is much more fun than this one.

Noobfactory is becoming mainstream,

aiming for easy profit.

"High quality imported green ceramic bezel"

What crap is this?

"...a must buy for all Rolex enthusiasts..."

:nah:

I'll pass.

Again.

I'm not sure where you're coming from chrvolt. The noobmaker has spent a year trying to get the colour of the ceramic bezel correct. If they had to go outside the country then so be it. Whether its marketing guff or not doesn't really matter. Noobfactory has always been mainstream, they're the biggest rep maker according to Angus, and also it seems on of the ones that produce the highest quality.

Do you own a current ceramic noob sub? I do. I really like it, in fact I'm wearing it right now. Yes, there are a lot of inaccuracies. We've had over a year to nitpick the ceramic noob sub. This is basically the same watch. But now it looks like they've managed to combine the nice case (ok some tiny mistakes but nice rehaut) along with a proper sunburst dial and what looks like pretty decent bezel colour. It's the best so far.

And yes, I think it's a nice watch that I might buy. The new supercase ceramic subs are a long time off.

Seems like Trusties original price was a little ambitious. They are now exactly the same as Puretimes.
