Bezel, engraving, color still ****** up !! Is it so hard or they just want to sell old stock before launching the "real" one ?!

Month ago, angus and co said, they have a gen one. They are in it.....but nothing happened !!

Indeed... that watch is a no-no.
Noobfactory is the only way to go for me. Noobfactory rehaut is the best out of the box for me, as it gives the crystal that "edge" which makes it look just like gen.

It's got some improvements over the stock watch. But for $500 no chance. Not with that rehaut. Unless you buy the watch he's using and then transplant the dial and bezel into a noob case (no guarantee on that working btw).

I got my 116610LV from Andrew last week. It was pretty good overall. The worst part was the rehaut shape. No one that isn't a rep connoisseur would know, though.

The Noob sub has the best rehaut edge. I spoke to one of our TD's today regarding their production of the LV with the sunburst (sunray) dial. He indicated that the Noob factory has been having production problems and while they have been working on this model for over a year, it has been to no avail and he doesn't expect anything from them in the near term (I would add, if ever). That said he did indicate that another producer was working on one that he believed would be equal to or better than a Noob version. Sounds like a long wait to me, which I really don't understand unless it has to do with the difficulty of producing a green dial since the sunburst effect is not uncommon with reps. And the beat goes on.

It's a combination of the sunburst dial and matching it to the green ceramic bezel.

I believe you're right, it must be difficult. I saw one today in an AD, they really are something, quite beautiful, rich deep and unified color.

Yup, I tried one on a few months ago. The emerald green of the bezel and dial are amazing, but I have a bit more sympathy for the dealers shots now. Taking photos of it under artificial light is almost impossible.

Angus said that the noob maker would be looking at the whole ceramic sub range again. It appears that Angus has managed to persuade him that making the effort in accuracy really does seem to make sense financially. I mean look at how well the 127/217, 243, AP diver V3 and now the JLC are going to be selling.

I mean even if Angus was getting only 100 per batch, x 6 batches for the 243 x ± $350 = $210,000. So even if the noob factory was only getting 10% profit that's $21,000 just for the 243 alone from Angus. Not including Toro, or any of the other watches that the noob factory sells.
