Source a good crystal or get an AR'd cyclop.
Re-lume
Smaller hour hand
Darth Alex pearl mod

I think someone on RG was taking a reserve list for gen spec crystals with AR, or Domi used to do runs of cyclops with AR coating as well.

Smaller hand, i guess from a regular sub hand set, but not sure exactly.

Darth Alex pearl mod, need to do some searching on here for it.

BKLM1234 or TC can get you datewheel overlays.

Still a lot of legwork to go to though.

I pulled the trigger as well.
I think I can live with the flaws, we'll see.
I'm betting the sheer beauty of it will satisfy.

if not I'll mod it into a Green Goblin.

The pearl can be modded and as well some other flaws like the fat hour dial hand and the weird lume color of the pearl. I think the beauty of this model is that out of the box it's great already but after a few mods it's perfect (In my opinion)

Btw. Bone, did u order the 2836 clone or swiss movement version?

popping that pearl off and regluing is a relatively easy fix. that pearl visually actually looks pretty damn fine. from three feet away it's going to look perfect.

Yup, I'm not overly concerned about the pearl, which is why i accepted it :)

Ordered the clone movement, I always do.

Gah! If I wasn't currently moving across the country, I'd have mine ordered already too.

I'm planning on have this and a regular LN sent off for maxi indexes, thin hour hand, and relume. Can't wait to see your work for motivation, Bonesey.

I will wait for the BK modded one. And then ship it to wiz for a super lume job etc.

Just pulled the trigger also, got a gen rolex black ceramic insert to go goblin. I love the green bezel though
