Hi everyone. I bought a zzf v2 from puretime and received it back in march. Now i just realized after reafing the discussions around the dimple in the center that strange enough mine did not have this. So this raised 2 questions in my head:
1) Is there anyone else who has a V2 that does not have this.
2) Could it be that mine is jot a V2. Maybe some experts like smoke or any of the others could chime in. Would be truely appreciated. Pics below.

I think Caprioles9000 was asking that. I was more trying to confirm that it's normal since mine also don't have a noticable dipp.Ok I'm confused I thought you were asking if it's a v2 because you cant see the dial dipp?
Hi everyone, I am new here . I notice that on TDs' websites the ZZF V2 is shown to be using SA3135 movement instead of VR3135 like everyone suggested so I am a little confused.

Some other member that recieved his ZZF v2 a few days before me also had a dial like this so maybe this batch comes with a very, very small dimple..

I think you guys are using and wearing watches entirely incorrectly.Joke aside. I know I'm not gonna win this "battle" here but ever since i tried vaseline (against theoretical issues it might bring) I found it to be the best.
I have a normal lifestyle and it have not attracted any dirt to the bracelet at all and it feels both steady and smooth just like my gen 116613lb. I have nothing against baby oil bath since it makes it smooth but doesn't really gives it the "steady" feeling that vaseline gives.
Now you are all free to hit me, but gotta warn ya, I'm immune

Sorry, but if you need lube on the bracelet, You're doing it wrong.

Ok i quoted the wrong person lol.never mind
I would have agreed with you a week ago, I wear my zzf sub everyday and besides it being the toughest rep I have ever had I mean I jump in the pool with it, I dropped in the lake and couldn’t find it for five minutes or so and it has been banged against several things that I for sure thought it would have damaged it but it still works like the day I took it out of the box, anyway I said the hell with it and I tried the Vaseline thing I covered the entire bracelet with Vaseline, moved it all around and covered it again and let it sit overnight and I must say it definitely gives a nice feel and movement to the bracelet and it even helped with the cheaply made clasp that comes on the watch, sounds crazy I know but there is a difference for sure

I can tell you this much. Whatever Rolex uses to lube bracelets it sure as hell ain't baby oil.I think you guys are using and wearing watches entirely incorrectly.

You think they keep a bottle with a cute baby in diaper-label on it their work tables?
Baby oil works fine, so does sun flower, canola and olive oil etc but it doesn't make it magic or what Rolex uses.
So do they use Vaseline then? Probably not. But I think the end result using it is very, very close to gen feeling (on a well made bracelet like ZZF v2).
Noone here knows what Rolex are using. Most likely some low scent and high viscosity synthetic oil (LIKE vaseline).
And just because some "know it all member" once said that vaseline or maybe silicone are bad choices and started a chain reaction, doesn't make it true.
I tried vaseline on my ZZF v2 and when comparing it to my gen I feels very, very close. I have no reason to lie about it..
And before some smart guy writes (something else that's classic): "Rolex doesn't use lube, they just have clean and well made metal parts, that's why it's so smooth". I'll say no way José! Tight metal parts that rub agains each other will feel stiff and make squeak sound if not lubed, not even Holy Rolex can escape that fact.
Maybe I need to work on my bad morning temper...
