this was my ZZF V2 when I received it in December, I’m assuming that the bezel insert has faded.

Second Pic is gen insert on my ZZF franken. It does look really close but I think CF inserts are fading.

I think the lighting conditions are a little different for both photos?

And even despite that, both bezels don't look too far off. I don't quite see the fading, at least not in this photo of the CF bezel.

I am seeing more and more new zzf owners complaining about the dull bezel insert in low light. Did ZZF change their manufacturing techniques? Because these new batches of zzf do not seem to have the bright peachy numbers in low light that they had 6 months ago.

it's true. the latest ZZF V2s presented showy defects: the color characters of the set are light gray. The bracelet is lighter and more delicate. The characters printed on the bracelet are with lowercase letters the sliding guides to widen the bracelet are made of plastic ....... I wrote to a couple of TDs who "don't deny" what happened. We hope to be resolved as soon as possible and to restart pending ARF V4 and NOOB11

Hello sorry for the confusion, the bottom picture is gen insert. I put the photo of gen to show that the insert was good at the start but now it does look very more dull in low light. I will try and find the old insert and take more comparison photos

Ordered in early April... Received late April.
after looking around, wish bezel insert color looked brighter.

By the looks of it ZZF has improved it with the newer ones.

For everybody talking about the dimple being the big flaw on the LN and they cannot buy it because of that check this video of a gen.

From 8:05 and wrist shots after that.

Same as I have it on my 2 ZZFs.

It is very slight on the gen though, much more pronounced on the zzf’s.

interesting that my new sub doesn’t have it at all

The feeling that you get when you realize the thing you always thought was a flaw was actually a feature the factory spent time on and made an effort to replicate.

I’ll explain: ever since the dimple on the dial was brought up, everytime I noticed it on my ZZF, part of me was bothered by it. When I saw the video, at that specific time, I was able to notice that it is really not a “flaw”.

When the weather gets warm enough I'll let you know the outcome. Have two of them and I'm not worried at all that normal swimming will do anything.

When the 114060 was released it already had the V2 updates! So only the 116610 has two versions buddy.

Are you sure this is so? On the first page of this thread, a no data is taken as an example of V1 so there is a V1 no data, it seems obvious to me. The doubt may be whether a V2 exists.



I have not understood if there is a V2 version also of the no data. I have seen many photos on the TD sites and it would seem that the no data has the reahut almost always hurt because it does not line up. Do you confirm or is it my impression?

After comparing ZZF V2 to gen, the only two mods I’m making are a new Prof crystal and Gen ceramic bezel insert. None of the reps are really close on the insert if you compare them side by side, at least to my eye. With these two mods, it would be VERY difficult to tell the watch is not gen on the wrist.
