Just received my ZZF v2. Amazed by the quality. I did see in the qc picks that there was a potential smudge or something like that at the six o clock indices but i gave the green light anyways taking the risk. Now that i have it in my hand its is very difficult to see but it does irritate me knowing its there. Is there any way to do something about that. What do you guys think it is?

I've read threads confirming other factories using 904L steel.

Has anyone confirmed if ZZF V2 is also 904L instead of a 306F gimmick to make it look like 904L?

It is probably just unevenness in the lume material application, it's hardly a biggie

In my opinion, the most obvious flaw on ZZF2 is the dip around the handstack. It looks like even the smallest play of light reveals it, and it's something I'd probably never be able to ignore. Is this a problem on every single produced unit? I hope they are able to fix that on V3, as that's the only thing pushing me away from ZZF. Since it looks like they don't have this problem at all on the new Hulk, I hope it's only a matter of time before it's fixed here as well.

Bigpoppad. Thanks for your feedback. Do you think it is really unevenness in the lume or just finger dirt? I asked because if its dirt then i cab get it cleaned. Otherwise i would need a modder to fix it. Dont know what he would do. Probably replace the indices but that could create un evenness in the lume. But you are right. At this moment it is so small its not easy to see it with you eyes if you didnt know.

It's there on LN because its on the gen LN as well. It's been discussed over so many times in RWI people posting pics of gen dials with the dimple and so on.

It's not fixed on LV as gen LV dials do not have it and that's why ZZF LV also does not have it.

Missing dimple on LN dial would be a flaw.

My gen doesn’t have a dimple....

Yes that's true some gen LN's have it and some don't so it's still not a flaw they have just replicated the variant with the dimple.

And it varies on ZZF some have it with too big radius and some with smaller which should be more gen like.

I see. In my limited exposure of gen, I haven't really noticed it, or at least it wasn't that big. My problem with it is that I wouldn't mind if it was small, but this kind of thing is basically impossible to see (or at least to judge its size) in static photos, so I would never be able to ask the TD for a replacement. In a few videos of ZZF I've seen, the dimple seemed too large, but even still, if I was to buy one LN right now, I think it would still be this one.

Comparison of the cyclops and DW from QC pics (which I have accepted) with a gen 116613LB. Not perfect but very good I would say!

looks like the insert is so dull, its an instant tell under low light. very disappointing. i thought the CF insert is much better than that.
