He will be my first omega rep. do you think i should get vsf or zf? zf is cheaper and better dial. In vsf, the mechanism is quieter and more disciplined.

I have an omega seamaster 300 in black VSF since a couple of weeks and I love it. The watch is also accurate and reliable.
If i would by another color, I would most likely go for ZF.

Nice

How are you finding the quality of the ZF. Just curious as most of the ZF units I’ve seen seem to suffer from mis aligned 6 o’clock lume marker and some with mis aligned 12 o’clock lume markers.
It feels very solid and I haven't noticed any misalignments. I did red light two units before accepting this one though, so I guess you have to be lucky and have a patient TD :)

Received QC pics for a Green Seamaster from ZF today.
Looking at the 12 o'clock markers, the left marker is slightly higher and titled to the left.
May I have advice on whether:
a) this is in line with expectations for this model and should be approved
b) I should reject and try again

Apologies if this is an incorrect way to ask for advice, or should be in its own thread.
This is my first rep and I've tried to understand the forum rules as best I can.
Thanks for your help.

Almost all I've seen had more or less tilted markers. This is actually a really nice one. Just go for it!

This looks perfect (based for ZF actually). Give it green light.

12 Marker is not noticable off, you wont really see it in real life. 6 Markerbis great. Rest also looks great.

Have approved with confidence and looking forward to the watch.

Thank you for your advice. It gave me a great deal of comfort.

Right here, right now
Has anyone already noticed how "thick" is the [Zr02] engraving on the ZF newest grey dial, when compared with the one on the black dial?
On gen it's barely visble, as it actually is on ZF black dial.

@ OP: I noticed that the ORF and ZF are each a tiny bit thicker (like up to half a mm) while the VSF's case is actually 0.1mm thinner.

Given that the Seamaster is not a thin watch to begin with, did you find the (admittedly very marginal) thickness of the ORF and ZF noticeable or is that negligible? My guess is that it should be not noticeable, can you confirm?
