@botsyboy I just got my white one today! Problem is when trying to size the bracelet, the screws are so damn tight and I'm worried I'm going to damage/strip them. Did you have this problem? Any suggestions?

U.K.
Lol. Also put the Section of bracelet in boiling water first to soften the threadlocker that even rep factories use these days! My ZF strap is still in its wrapping as I fitted an ORF bracelet on my watch.

What are my options if I have now rejected two of these ZF Seamasters. The lumes seem to be terrible. As if they have been placed by a 4 year old child!

Late to the game seeing this thread, but I have a VSF white dial and an ORF grey dial. Might be time to get a ZF because no matter how much I try to look past it, the off-lumed hands on my white and the too dark of color palette on the ORF still bug me. Thanks for posting all the comparison photos!

What the hell is up here? OK, the 6 o clock ones, I can agree...
But the one at 6 o clock?
500 vs 5000 bucks....

I agree with this in concept but I have a few Bulovas in the sub-$500 range and their dial markers and alignments are perfect. So, its possible at this price point.

Replica oblivion…
It’s not too bad. ORF also had a batch of misaligned 12 o clock markers. You can wait for a new batch from ZF that may or may not have solved the issue. Russian roulette as all batches will have some issue with something.

I have an opinion too. Some units have good markers, on some (most) they are misaligned.

A TD is trying to sell you a watch with crooked markers, which he can 100% see, but he hopes you wouldn't notice.

Other people get units with good markers and are paying exactly the same price. Why on Earth would you accept something that will bother you for all eternity? You'll only see this crap every time you look at the watch. So thank you, but no thank you!

And please don't try to sell me the story about how poor hungry children are assembling these in a cold basement while snacking on boogers... Prices are only going up, quality not so very much. There would never be any progress in the world if we would always accept everything that's thrown at us. They just need to try harder.

That's my opinion. What a diverse bunch we are!
