Anyone know if the movement used in the ZF has bi directional winding like the VSF or single only direction winding like the ORF unit.
Cant wait to see a WHITE dial ZF from anyone who gets one. Also looking forward to see if they get the S/N case to movement match corrected.

Been out of the rep game for a few years but this is looking very good. I am torn between this and a planet ocean (42/43.5mm). Are there any post vsf raid Planet oceans which can compete with the quality and accuracy of this watch bar the mismatching case and movement serials? Most importantly is it going to be in stock?

The old noob lmpo would be a dream watch for me atm, current leftovers are not great.

Also, do both black and blue versions have the same quality and accuracy level?

- The Seamaster font is a little too bright; but more in the pics than in real life
- Rotor is noisy (on mine)
- marker at 12 is very little crooked, practically not visible

Everything else is very good:
- color of hour markers: not 1000& white, but the gen is not either
- dial, bezel alignement is perfect
- bezel has NO play !
- nice dial (color, waves, details)
- solid bracelet and clasp, with push slider for adjustment on the fly, as per gen

I have a Gen Seamaster. The rotor is noisy, completely normal. The markers on the 12 are never 100% straight. The only instant tell for me is the brightness of the Seamaster lettering.

On the VSF and ORF the red seamaster font is too light in colour… almost pinkish in some cases on the white dial so it’s good to see ZF give it a deeper colour. This is looking very good so far as the best of the Seamster 300 reps.

I would like to say one more important thing. If you gave me the watch I would assume it was a real one. I currently wear the SMP every day and this one looks so real. There is no need to worry that someone would notice something.

It is possibly like the ORF due to the free spinnnig rotor. I oiled mine to slow it down a little and quieten it. Been running very well so far.

do you reckon after a service that the rotor would quiet down? all in all its a pretty good tradeoff

Is ZF the only one with a true ceramic dial?

ZF definitely wins IMO. I don't feel bad now having cancelled my ORF order after rejecting 2 of them. Only factory I ever rejected, unfortunately.

AliExpress is the hidden gem where you can source some nice replica watch parts. How's the quality of the rubber strap?

Quality is good..nice and soft rubber, very flexible,, But you need to use curved spring bars (included) to make it fit properly
