You may have to find a TD with stock - ZF i think are closed at the moment because of raids. This was last week anyway, I haven't heard anything since.I love that olive green. Are these still available from the factory?
I experienced that with the ZF‘s I had too. The AR outside is like a layer of butter. Scratches extremely/removes extremely easy.I did notice that my outer AR has started to scuff a bit. Too bad, but fortunately not super noticeably yet.
Interesting - I wonder if its possible to source aftermarket crystals. Probably not worth it ultimately. Thanks for the warning though, ill be sure to baby the crystal hahaI experienced that with the ZF‘s I had too. The AR outside is like a layer of butter. Scratches extremely/removes extremely easy.
One of the reasons why I’m all in for VSF for SMP.
Thanks alot for the info guys. I was tossing up the zf and the vsf. Sounds like overall the vsf may be the better way to go if I don't mod the watch
Where did you find it for 202???So long as you are comfortable with the risk of stem/crown issues so widely discussed with VSF seamasters. From the sounds of it, ZF just needs a bit of lube for rotor noise? Should be receiving mine in a week or so, paid £202 which seems like a steal.
Looks the business. At the risk of sounding stupid or being shot down, is oiling a rotor something that can be attempted by a complete novice?
No you dumb ass mf burn in hell of you attempt it………Looks the business. At the risk of sounding stupid or being shot down, is oiling a rotor something that can be attempted by a complete novice?
Hahahahahah ok thanks man! I'll have to do some readingNo you dumb ass mf burn in hell of you attempt it………
I’m kidding I have no idea but from what I’ve heard it’s really easy but requires a special kind of lubricant. Google it and you will probably find it.
Go for it. If you are really bothered by it that is, otherwise leave it and just enjoy everything.Hahahahahah ok thanks man! I'll have to do some reading
yes, it is not difficult. you need something to open the case and moebius oil (or something similar). the srew of the rotor is special, so you can not use a normal srewdriver. i used a small rubber.Looks the business. For me I prefer my ORF White dial, the markers are white (known not be be on VSF which bothered me) and rotor is quite as a mouse.Ok guys, so the zf version compared to the vsf version. Besides the noisy rotor, the vsf seems to be the more accurate version?
It's hard to call an accurate a rep with CG so small in comparison to gen. One look and you know it's not a gen Omega. The general consensus seems to be that VSF makes better reps than ZF. Thing is, I saw two VSF in a row that were unacceptable QC wise, so I don't get where the high regard comes from...Ok guys, so the zf version compared to the vsf version.
