Green ZF seamaster 300 just arrived. Visually beautiful...but unfortunately it's pretty load on the wrist.
Where did you order? After more than two weeks waiting Steve couldn’t find one for me

Looks like they’ve sorted out the dark read Seamaster. Damn! I bought a VSF just for that reason that ZF red was to dark. Waiting for it should arrive this week.
Yeah that dark red text was one of the reasons i never got a zf after having one with orf

Sounds so loud you though you can hear the movement spin with a flick of the wrist
confirmed: also my ZF blue one is louder than I would have expected - not extremely but noticeable.

I screened the Omega Forum and it seemed also some people complaining about Gen and loud rotor - explanation there was its due to the use of ceramic on the dial etc ... Could make sense but not sure. Any thoughts/maybe experience with Gen?

I came here to ask this exact same question 😂. Just got my seamaster delivered today. Really happy. Ive got the bracelet one. And i also want to get a rubber strap. Please do let me know if you find out how to source the rubber strap and likewise I’ll let you know if I come across anything.
I ordered a speedmaster with ss and rubber straps from puretime and just got em. They charged me about 80dollars extra for the rubber strap which included the fancy omega deployant clasp, so the Smp300 rubber might be a bit less. A

I have an Omega with the calibre 3330 and it's rotor is a wee bit loud (not too loud but definitely not silent). I have a longines with the L888 and that is louder! I've handled a gen smp300 with the calibre 8800 and it had audible rotor noise (almost as loud as my 3330, maybe a wee bit less). Apparently it's because of ceramic bearings. Funny enough, the quietest watch I have is a bulova that has a miyota movement. My cousin has a gen Nautilus and surprisingly, rotor noise is audible there as well.
