as per my modder it is the same base as the V1 Vaucher clone, just modified for mass production. Similarly what we saw with the BBR V3 movement when it was also mass produced.

They literally contain different parts, your modder can say whatever they want but those are NOT the same.

Very nice. Considering this is V1 of the first mass-produced clone RM movement it's very impressive.
What are these pics? Are they QC?

Wow those glamour shots are great, they put a lot of work into making this. I'm gonna grab a Yas to complement my ZF v2 for sure. It's really nice to have two amazing "clones" available at different price points. The BBR v3 is an amazing watch in its own right and I'm wondering if this might drop its price a bit so we have a $500 clone and a $1k clone. I'm actually kinda annoyed ZF came out with this so quickly, I've been dailying my BBR v3 since it came out and I know the ZF is going to replace it eventually in my rotation, lol.

Crowns are interchangeable, you can put whatever color you want as with the strap

It definitely looks better, both aesthetically (marginal) and as a clone, but I don't know anything about reliability or feel. My honest opinion is that the BBR v3 is a fantastic movement, and is plenty good on its own. I adore mine, and I'm wearing it right now!

BUT, if the ZF is at least as good functionally as the BBR, it definitely looks more like the gen watch and that would technically make it "better"; we just don't know that for sure yet. I'm hoping that the ZF is great and makes the BBR the more "affordable" choice, because if the more affordable one is as fucking great as the BBR, then we're in a golden age for RM reps.

Is the ZF movement actually a clone of the gen or still a deco?
